I'm not typically one to leave a review, but felt compelled to do so because Marlon and his staff went incredibly above and beyond for me in time for my holiday travel. Someone hit my car, and they jumped through so many hoops because of the insurance company lagging behind. But it's a Christmas miracle - not only did they go out of their way to make sure I got my car back, it looks shiny and new! Will absolutely only ever go to this shop from here out thanks to the amazing job they do, and wonderful service they provide!”

“Both my Cousin and Myself had scratched up bumpers and we decided to stop by this amazing auto body shop on Cranston and we’re both grateful for the amazing service, we both made an appointment and in short time these guys were ready to work, the wonderful manager Yeky was also amazing and very informative to all the details of what was being done to our vehicles, later on we come to find our cars beautiful and clean like new after well you see the picture my cousin and myself enjoyed cruising throughout Rhode Island stop by a gas station for some treats and got their crew a lil something as a thank you! “I found myself in a bit of a pinch last week. I was under the impression that my rear brakes had been checked by two other local businesses, but they clearly weren’t and had to be replaced immediately. I called Eddy and he had my car up on the lift the following morning. His quote was also significantly lower than two other places I checked into for the repair. Safe to say I will only be bringing my cars to him and his team from now on. I can’t thank them enough for how quickly they got this done.”

“Xpert Auto has this customer for life. On the 17th at another auto shop I went for oil change and to check a humming noise on my vehicle. Afterwards they wanted over $1000 for oil change and a RT wheel barring. As well as other things not included in the $1000 price. I was leaving for a family camping trip the following day, they told me they couldn’t do all the work that day. I randomly called numerous mechanics in the area and fell upon Xpert. I talked with Keith, who must’ve heard the panic in my voice, as I was set to leave for a 5hr drive for camping trip the following day. Keith somehow scheduled me in the same day, while he didn’t work on my car specifically he was the behind the scene guy just helping out a panicked gal. After dropping my vehicle off a few hours later it was done. To my surprise not only did the RT wheel barring need replacing but the humming noise was the LT side. While due to time the LT couldn’t be done same day it wasn’t the same issue as the RT. Keith gave me a price less than half that of the original mechanics price and assured me that he’d honor the price for the LT side. I made my trip safely, and today the LT side was fixed with no gimmicks/ price increases. My heart has never been fuller than to have found a place that cares about their customers like Xpert, thank you so much to the mechanics and Keith for everything.”

“I am sure everyone in the forum already knows about the pricing benefit to get your extended warranty through Mike, my 5 star was mainly in addition for the support I received from Mike to be able to purchase and decide over my extended service plan, he provided a completely different experience then my selling dealer - easy to reach, cleared all queries, no push through on unnecessary stuffs gave me my space to decide what I needed.

“J Poulos is a trustworthy and reliable shop. They're the first people I go to when my car is acting up, and my parents use them as well.
The owner (Bruce) is a total king who goes out of his way to treat his customers well. He has repeatedly offered me discounts and freebees for no apparent reason outside of just being a decent guy. The J Poulos staff is also helpful and friendly. They obviously understand mechanics, but they're also knowledgeable about the ins and outs of auto retail, warranties, etc. When I was having trouble with my used car dealer, Bruce explained RI's lemon laws to me, personally spoke to the salesman on my behalf, and when all else failed, he offered me a free repair.
Car repairs are miserable no matter what, but these folks do their best to make it as quick and painless as possible.”
“I become the owner of a heavily used car that needed some TLC and over the past few years of going here they have been nothing but kind and thoughtful when handling what can be at times a stressful situation when your vehicle isn’t doing what it needs to do. They have always handled the job perfectly and they stand behind their work to make sure everything is safe for me to drive. Communication and honesty and letting me know how to prioritize repairs to fit in my budget is a big help for me. I couldn’t recommend them more. I live just over the boarder in Attleboro and take the detour past other places and over to them because of how comfortable they have made the whole process everytime. 10/10, 2 thumbs up!”
“My partner had a good experience using East Bay Service Center, so I decided to take my car there when I had an issue. When I arrived, the owner (I believe) was there but just cleaning up because they were actually closed for the week. He still took the time to try something quickly to fix my car's issue, and wouldn't accept any payment afterwards. He said if it didn't resolve the issue to schedule an appointment for the following week, but everything has been working fine since! Thank you, East Bay Service Center.”

Not only have I been going to see Jimmy & his efficient staff for years, but it should also be noted that I live almost 45min away, & thus must make 2 round trips with my wife every time I drop off a vehicle.So why do I drive so far? Indeed, this person was on the spot. I'm a 30 year old female who's owned about 4 cars in the past 7 years (...Yea I know). Every time I had an issue, I experienced mechanics who's number one goal in life was to burn you. Needless to say, I no longer have to feel that way anymore. “Tonight my son stopped into this establishment and needed assistance with a phone call and directions. You see, he's trying to get home for dinner with his family from the naval base in Newport. Unfortunately because of the bridge closure it has taken far longer than either of us anticipated. It's currently 6 p.m. and he's still not home, he left Newport at 230! I just wanted to say thank you to the person who is working for allowing my son to use the phone, charge his, and giving him directions. It means more than you know.”
