This Walgreens is located on Atwells Ave. in Federal Hill with a parking lot. There are some spots reserved for 30 minute parking. Like other Walgreens, there is a photo and a pharmacy section. I've been here a few times to pick up my photos. The photo counter has a button to call for service if there is no staff there. Usually within a few minutes, a staff member appears. The store is clean and organized. Does the exterior of Walgreens look familiar to you? This Walgreens was selected for the exterior shots of the store in Disney's "Hocus Pocus 2."

This Walgreens in the Federal Hill section of Providence has its own parking lot, which is a blessing for those needing to stop in here.... Parking in Federal Hill is a premium commodity and this store makes it easy for its customers to do their shopping. The inside of the store is a bit smaller than other Walgreens but being an urban location that is understandable. The store was bright and well lit. Their grocery item section was well stocked and even though the prices are high, there are not other regular grocery stores nearby, there are some specialty Italian markets, but no 7-Elevens, Shaw's nor Stop & Shop. There's a Price Rite, but that is almost a mile out.

horribly incompetent... call you to come get meds that aren't ready... have no clue... so sad, because before Covid, they were on top of their game

This location confirmed over the phone they had an item in stock, but said they didn’t carry it 5 minutes later when I showed up (same employee). All I needed was a bag of ice.

I always go to this Walgreens simply because it’s close to my house. Everyone who works here is great, I’ve always liked every person who’s ever helped me at this location but there’s one cashier named Hunter who is just so friendly and exciting. Always puts me in a good mood after.

Incompetent staff. Lose prescriptions and horrible customer service with you sitting on wait for 30 minutes before hearing from anyone. Absolute apathy and disregard for client needs.

Scheduled a vaccine booster for today with days in advance. I show up and turns out that the street that leads to the pharmacy, and the pharmacy itself are both closed (at 5 apparently) even though they scheduled me at 5:30. I received no cancellation or even a call to let me know not to come in. Trash, avoid at all costs. Also, please update your hours so people don’t waste time going there for nothing.

This is THE BEST pharmacy in the area. The pharmacist and her staff are fantastic. I have the same 4 prescriptions from MA every month and with every other pharmacy, there are always random problems where no one knows what to do. So, the hardworking and experienced women that run the Atwells Walgreens pharmacy take a big weight off my shoulders 2x a month. They know what they are doing and it shows. Thank you!

Extremely poor customer service. Purchased Photos to be picked up two days ago for a friend. Never received notification that it was done. Called yesterday where I was put on hold to the point of the call looping back to ringing the store, but no answer. I hung up and recalled the store twice with no answer. I still haven't received my photos and would be requesting a refund. Real sad.

They turned me away from getting a Covid-19 vaccination because I was visiting family from out of state (for a month, during the delta variant rise... I'm also pregnant and have had covid once, thus my delay in getting vaccinated). They said my out of state insurance wasn't accepted (even though the vaccine is technically free and if you don't use insurance comes out to a couple dollars - verbatim from pharmacy tech), so I offered to pay the couple dollars out of pocket and the woman said they don't accept cash payment?!?!? What? Makes no sense. It took me a while to do research and feel ok about getting this vaccine while pregnant, but felt it pertinent now that the delta variant is raging. I can't believe this incompetent pharmacy turned me away despite everyone being urged to get vaccinated for the well being of all. This is so backwards! It makes no sense how much trouble they gave me over this. The head pharmacist reluctantly tried to give me some coupon to get it, but then said I would have trouble getting my second shot from my current state??? Also, makes no sense. This is after I was told you can get/reschedule your 2nd Covid vaccine at any Walgreens pharmacy in the US if you are traveling. I do not recommend this incompetent pharmacy that lacks empathy and common sense!!!!
