“We had the potatoe gnocchi, which was delicious! The sea scallops were out of this world! I wish their menu had more seafood options.Unfortunately, the sticky toffee dessert was very dry and not tasty.”

“I can't believe that I've never heard of Maria's Cucina. It's located in a quieter section of Federal Hill and I appreciated the parking availability. It's an old Victorian house that looks a little worn on the outside, but don't be fooled - the interior will blow you away. The vibe is old school Italian in a classy way. You feel like you are "dining out".The service could not have been better. Our server, Jenna, was a gem.The fried calamari was perfectly cooked - crispy & tender. I had mixed feelings about the entrees. The bone-in pounded veal Parmesan was excellent and the portion was huge! I was underwhelmed by the carbonara. No room for dessert on this visit but, eyeing the lemon olive oil cake for next time. Coffee is first-rate.I look forward to returning to dine outdoors in the warmer weather.”

“This was my second time at the Waterfire Art Center for an event. This time I attended Little City Thrifty Vintage event. There were many vendors with beautiful vintage fashion clothing, shoes, decors that you could choose from or just walk around to meet many of the business owners to know more about their shops location if you weren't able to make a purchase at that time. I did a whole walk around.”

“My now husband and I can’t recommend Easy Entertaining enough. Kaitlyn and Mike were absolutely phenomenal to work with, they were so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. They did such an amazing job setting up the reception area. Mike was so polite and attentive throughout the day. All of the guests were astounded by the excellent food, and how wonderful the entire wait and bar staff were. They truly made our wedding day magical. Thank you all!”

“Great busy place for small kids, probably ip to 7-8, our 6 years old had a blast. A lot if kids 1-2 years old with their own place to crawl and explore.Small area outside to explore as well.Otherwise, if you want your kids to stay occupied for a few hours , come and enjoy.Affordable entrance prices for adults and kids!”

“We had our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the G and our wedding reception at the Ballroom at the Providence G in September 2023, and we could not be happier! We fell in love with the venue right away - from the beautiful rooftop to the spacious ballroom and gorgeous chandeliers, it's a really special city venue that's difficult to beat.During our outdoor ceremony, there were dark clouds rolling in and lightning striking in the distance. The moment once the ceremony was over and all our guests were safely inside the Rooftop covering for cocktail hour, it started pouring and our guests were able to enjoy watching the rain from within the glass walls and ceiling, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the night! The ballroom's elegant and minimal decor was perfect for our vision. The bar staff was quick and efficient, and we didn't have to worry about long lines at the bar. There was plenty of room for our 150 guests, and the dance floor was huge. It was a very hot and muggy weekend, but with the AC blasting, massive fans the team brought onto the dance floor, and the open bar, our guests didn't seem to mind.Lauren and her team were amazing, honest and upfront, and super helpful, responding to all my questions and concerns with reassurances and proposed solutions during the planning process and on the day of. Lauren's energy is so calming and she really made us feel comfortable and confident that she had it all handled. The team helped us stick to our timeline and pull off a surprise lion dance performance for our guests. We highly recommend this venue and this team to pull off your dream wedding!”

“I don't leave google reviews often, but I feel like I MUST.Venture Cafe PVD has given me the opportunity to meet like minded entrepreneurial individuals within the ever-growing community. It is the place to go to learn new things, meet new people, and get involved. Reilly and Caroline go above and beyond to make sure that EVERYONE involved, from the vendors, the volunteers, and the attendees are all comfortable and accommodated to. They both create an environment that I don't think would be there without them. Thank you to everyone that is involved in Venture Cafe for creating a hub to help grow connect the local community.”

“Franchesca was a pleasure to work with while planning my wedding! She was very prompt with answering emails/phone calls and very attentive to details. I found myself to be very nit-picky as our date grew closer and when I had an issue with my bridal bouquet on the morning of my wedding she dropped everything and fixed it right away. She was very organized and honest with my expectations and quotes, and respected our budget--even came up with alternative ideas (i.e., instead of a floral arch at the alter, she suggested taller stemmed plants and placed tea lights on them, which looked gorgeous and stayed within my price range). She is so sweet and definitely has an adaptable vision. I wanted baby's breath flower crowns for my flower girls but I was was worried that one of them, my 18-month-old flower girl, would rip out her flower crown--Franchesca instead made a baby's breath hair clip for her instead, which stayed the entire night! She was also very knowledgeable about my venue, the Providence Public Library, which helped me be a little bit more decisive when it came to which areas I wanted to decorate with fresh flowers (helped cut the cost for me)! All in all, she's great at what she does, her website/social media absolutely reflects what she can do, and she can tastefully add a touch of elegance to your special day!”

“I'm a long time participant (2 decades) in this great little hip spot...I've given full scale concerts in the garden, hosted their long running open-mic, played the open mic and participated in just about everything that this hip-spot has offered at one time or another. It is ideal as a small music venue, acoustic or PA, it offers the atmosphere of a listening audience. and easy to get to... I have a warm place in my heart for it's history in town and have only the best of experiences that I've enjoyed there...it's so much more than a coffee/tea house and a great place to catch a Java as well ... a must see in Prov. "Papa Angelo" Marinosci, Jr.”

“Located directly in the heart of Providence, RI- it is about a 5min walk to Amica Pavillion and bridge connection to the mall as well. The hotel is big and has an old rustic feel to it. Rooms are decent size over looking the city. Guest services was friendly and helpful during our interaction. Swimming Pool/hot tub was not available. Parking is either $20 or $34.”

“Nice Irish pub. This last time we went in late, bartender said they were already closed (45 minutes early). Went down the road to Murphy's instead. Walking back to my car I see guests still at the bar in Blake's, hmmm.”

“Tonight we held my son's graduation party here and it was absolutely perfect. Jodi the owner is so helpful and a pleasure to work with. We did a pasta station for dinner which was phenomenal. After we also had a sliders, chicken fingers and fried station for 2nd dinner incase the 1st wasn't enough. The bartender and all the staff helping serve we so sweet and wonderful. We chose the 1st floor level because you can walk right out onto the patio and sit to chill and see the stunning view. All in all tonight was amazing and I highly recommend Skyline for your next party or event.”

“I've been here for 3 1/2 weeks. My room is on the 7th floor with a view of the capitol -- lovely. I really love my room. A king-size bed and a cozy couch with a great reading light behind it. The location could not be better for walking the city. Perfect. They charge $30/day for parking, but so do all the other hotels downtown. Service is good! Super helpful staff. Everyone! One night I called the front desk around 11 pm asking about a new plastic liner for my bathroom garbage can. The desk clerk walked it up to my room 5 minutes later. (!!!) The free breakfast at their restaurant is better than the breakfast bar at a Hilton (see photo of today's breakfast). But there are a ton of awesome restaurants within walking distance. Have fun!!! In winter, there's a small park with a skating rink across the street. I've been really happy here. I hope you will be, too! Only drawback: a tiny fridge and no microwave in your room. Tip: you can ask the restaurant to store your salad or whatever in their walk-in.”
