Worked with Brian to find and deliver a registered mail package within a day that got mistakenly marked as delivered after an attempt to coordinate a redelivery. He was responsive, patient, kind, and followed through. An absolute gem. Thanks again, Brian!

I have had ongoing issues with this office for years. Carriers leaving mail that did not belong to me. The number of my one family house is in big, black numbers, right on the outside of the house at the top of the front stairs. I finally decided to get a PO Box, thinking that would stop the problem. Nope. Just now, for the second time, my screen door side panel was knocked in because a carrier was trying to deliver mail. I have NO mailbox plus he was going to leave mail for a different house number. And my main screen door WAS LOCKED. So he thought it was OK to bypass that, get entry onto my property and damage it. Then he got nasty and rude. I have spoken to the station manager about my problem previously...I actually got on a bus and went to the post office to complain. He's a smooth talker but doesn't solve a thing (though he said he put a notification not to deliver mail at my address because I have a PO Box. But, even after that, I got mail that didn't belong to me; not junk mail but checks, bank statements, etc). I complained to the USPS National Inspection Service about the damage but that's useless because all they do is refer your problem to the same post office. I also called the city services at City Hall for any suggestions and they said to file a police report. When I called the police, the officer said 'Absolutely' because they damaged my home. He walked me through the process and told me to inform the manager that I had done so. The manager's response was "Yes, I know the police and they know me...", meaning that it was useless to complain to the police because of his relationship with them. Today, the manager showed up at my house, the day AFTER he was supposed to come (and I waited all day for the no show; no phone call to tell me he wasn't coming.) He had an Amazon package of mine. I didn't know that Amazon uses USPS to deliver; my previous packages came by an Amazon truck or UPS or Fed-Ex. But at least he brought the package with him. BUT, when I told him that the reason I addressed it to my home is because Amazon said that particular item could not be delivered to my PO Box, his response was he 'knew people that had PO Boxes and Amazon delivers them to the box all the time.' OK, then I guess I'm lying! Made excuses for his carriers; "everybody makes mistakes". A mistake is one thing. Damaging my property because you are bypassing a locked entryway is another. A lame and lackadaisical "I apologize" as he was walking away. He never, not once, validated my being upset and the reason for it. The service in this country has deteriorated to such an extent that it's almost unbelievable. I used to be a postal carrier in rural areas; I delivered along back roads, dirt driveways that turn to mud, country dogs, no names/unreadable numbers on mailboxes. Plus we used our own vehicles. NEVER, not once, did I deliver mail where it didn't belong. NEVER did I damage someone's property. Hold your employees accountable. Retrain if necessary.

I am so tired of this post office. My house has the number on the front door. My mailbox has the names of who lives there. My house is a single family house. So why am I constantly getting mail that is not addressed here........why am I getting certified mail THAT IS NOT SIGNED BY ANYONE WHO LIVES HERE. I have made numerous complaints & the same thing continues to happen. I've gone to the post office to make a complaint & I have not received any additional information. I have left my phone number with one of the employees with a promise with a call back. WHY ARE YOUR POSTAL WORKERS SIGNING CERTIFIED MAIL. I'm sure that's illegal

I use this place for passport and the service could be better in terms of waiting. Someone made a mistake with my process but they barely paid for fast shipping, I think it was for something, either the passport or the USCIS.

Currently closed due to construction. No notice anywhere but it’s posted on their door that the Elmwood Ave entrance is closed and to go to the back of the building for mail pick up. Currently they are NOT a fully functional service location and don’t have a lobby at the moment. No notice for when renovations will be completed. Be advised for holiday gifting drop off! 11/28/22

Before I went here, I happen to see the reviews online. The first one was positive so it prompted me to go there to do my business.I'm very glad that I did. I had some issues with a passport application that I sent it. I couldn't really understand what the issue was. The clerk, Dawn, went above and beyond to resolve this and helped me do all of the additional extra paperwork that was required.I'm very appreciative.Very positive experience.

Went for applying my son’s passport. The process was so efficient and quick; you just need all the documents stated in the application ready. The representative is courteous and friendly. ?Note: the entrance to the building is now on the Cadillac street.

This post office needs work. the blonde guy with the beard is my favorite clerk ever, he's always super quick, professional, knows what hes doing...if you get him you're good that day! But otherwise get ready to wait and wait and wait. Hes the only reason i dont give the location a flat 1 star.

I had lost a package in transit somewhere originally from NJ to RI and out of both states USPS office only the 1 here had stayed long on the phone with me to try and help resolve the issue versus the 1 in NJ kept hanging up on me then avoided my calls completely. Still didn't get my package but I'm still thankful that Liz and Dave did try and were patient and help explained what could have happened with the shipment.
