After rushing to make an urgent return deadline, I arrived 15 minutes before closing and was turned away at the door because there were apparently already 20 people in line. The lady at the door claimed that all of the equipment was broken (which was not true since they were handling other customers, and suggested that I walk to a different post office a mile away. I understand closing doors five minutes early, even ten, but a quarter till closing for a postal service is pretty brutal when people have deadlines to meet and it usually does not close early . It seems like they just decided they didn't want any more people in the building since it was busier than usual. Makes planning difficult and frustrating.

Worst service ever. Took more than 30 minutes to send a package internationally. The woman at the counter was clueless and she should have just told me to come back. Instead I waited for her to serve everyone else, try to figure it out, ask a colleague, then abandon it altogether.

We visited today to mail a very important document and the clerk ( Crissy ) patiently helped us and explained everything we asked. She was very helpful and nice.

Had a problem locating a package. Spoke with Vicky and she located it and closed the file. The day my package was getting delivered to my relative, she gave me a friendly call to inform me it was out for delivery. Never spoke with anybody else but her. Thank you Vicky for all that you do!

I’m new to Wayland Square and have been to this USPS site several times to process paperwork. The staff is really amazing and welcoming, professional, well informed and knowledgeable! I’m so pleased to have such access in close proximity. It has made life much easier in transitioning from out of state!

I have not received mail for over 6 months because they have been holding it at this post office and put my name wrong in the system so I can’t collect my mail with my ID.

I would put zero stars if it would let me. The manager needs to do better on who they hire. The customer service was so trash. The employees wasn’t assisting nobody. They were too busy chitchatting with their coworkers.

Last Sat shipping before Christmas and I just made it in before closing. Candy and Brenda were the best! They found their gift cards that were for Dave & Buster’s for me and saved me a trip to the mall! Thank you! Great, convenient neighborhood post office!

Good friendly staff here, always happy to say hi to my doggo. They tend to close a little early, so don't be running late.

This post office located right on Thayer St is small but convenient if you live in the area or if you are one of the many college students that frequent the neighborhood. The staff is nice and efficient. The main thing that I wish they had is dedicated parking. Parking in this area is tough and hard to find. Like many post offices, you can get supplies for shipping packages. The only thing to know is that if you use their Express Package supplies, you will have to pay the express package rate, which is usually $4-5 more than if you would had wrapped your box in a brown generic paper or plain box.

Sometimes this place closes at 1:49,11 minutes before closing. Which is a waste of time and gas. Now I’ll have to drive to the next USPS location to drop off the mail that has to go out today.
