They had a great sale! I miss not shopping there as much. I can't afford the prices they went up very high. Bur they had a great sale.

This place feels so depressing now. Young gentlemen at customer service was quite helpful when I asked for a SH card. The other kid with the nose piercings and weird tattoos couldn't be bothered. Had to return an item, which I never done in Stop and Shop, and it was a undelightful experience. I told him the reason, and handed my receipt. Then we both just stood there, him staring into the abyss. I finally looked at the keypad and in small letters, "enter phone number". The fact that he just stood there and not tell me is baffling. Was he afraid of actually working? Was I supposed to know this stuff offhand? How many people would know this? Most places would inform, not this kid though, he couldn't be bothered. Another young adult dejected that he actually had to work.
We live in a time of a divided society, and what I learned from that is my money is a powerful tool and I can choose to support what company or brand with said money. Market Basket is the same distance but it's always crowded, I guess me and my family will be going to Market Basket more often now.
To think I've been going to that Stop and Shop with my parents since it opened up in the mid 90s. Poor attitude loses customers.

One of the more decent Stop and Shops in the area. I avoid the one near me because this one blows it out of the water. The bathrooms are even okay...just OKAY, though. Not great, but not the state of certain other stores I've been to so I'll take it.

They’re starting to have a decent point system now I like that I get a dollar for every hundred bucks I spend or something like that. It’s not much but it helps.

It's convenient because it's close: Too bad I can't say the same about the "points/card rewards".
It's older than my Mom and the employees are knowledgeable & friendly: But the prices are consistently Pandemic... pre/post.
The Organic selection is getting better every day and since the crowd's traditionally Seniors, the pricing doesn't scream "we know you might be on a budget"...Do better or at least fake it 1 week a month.

Customer service. Was lousy was having trouble with my credit card and the woman acting like my card was no good. So I finally just left. I went home use my computer ordered what I wanted online scheduled for a pickup and went and picked it up no issues with my card online. I don't know what the woman's problem was but she could care less whether I got what I wanted or not. Went back next day saw same customer service lady told her what I had done ordered online and picked it up and she says well I guess that's how you have to do it. That's not the way I wanted to do it I wanted to shop in the store and see for myself. There was nothing wrong with my credit card she did not want to be bothered. Someone should have a talk with their customer service reps and have them have a little bit more compassion and understanding that it's not always our fault when the card is not working. Sometimes it could be their system because I use the same card online no problem.
