Love to visit this gem of a shop in Providence. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They pack a lot onto this tiny space. I have picked up a bunch of useful kitchen gadgets, spices, dish towels, knives. Also enjoy the selection of food items. Prices are reasonable and there is something for every budget.

The best!! Staff is always friendly and helpful, I always find a little something I didn’t know I needed, and regularly pop in for local eggs and cheese. Love being able to walk here and the fact they’re open later for dinner/cooking emergencies. Great for gift giving for foodies, party hosts, and anyone who loves when form and function meet!

So grateful to Stock - its owner, staff, curated goods, community vibe and friendliness. It's simply a pleasure to be there. Even their music is fun. They've helped me buy great looking and super useful culinary goods for my home. And, every gift I've ever bought there for friends and colleagues has been a total success. It's amazing the variety of goods (including local wares and local fresh food); small shop feel with large selection, without the inflated prices that you would expect from a local merchant. And the service is top notch, they are kind and give great advice. Everytime I go in it's an adventure!

I bought a manual juicer, for citrus fruit. I used it on one orange, it did not work well at all (left a lot of pulp/unjuiced fruit), so I rinsed it and attempted to return it 24hrs later. The cashier was apparently brand new, so got assistance from another store employee. They apparently did not know the return policy, and spoke with the manager, who said that anything that has been used cannot be returned... you're a kitchen store... Using something once on food is what people are going to do... why buy anything in person? Why pay a mark-up to lose the convenience of being able to return a product? Amazon wins again, and I am stuck with a $20 juicer that doesnt work well, and you lost a customer (or several).

Anything you need to cook, bake, and have fun. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I bought some unique cookie cutters and some rhode Island honey.

A place to pop into for a spark of creative energy, finding unique kitchen and home gifts and culinary curiosities for yourself.The staff are just as thoughtful as their curated selections. They go above and beyond here.I was last minute shopping for a house warming gift. I picked up a locally made wood carved bowl and the sweetest seasonally printed tea towel made by a staff member. The wood bowl could have used a bit of mineral oil and I thought to myself, I’ll throw some on before I wrap it. I got to the counter and without mentioning the lackluster wood they offered to add mineral oil at checkout and asked if I’d like them to wrap my gift saving me time. Quickly they returned my gift in a beautifully wrapped gift box and I was on my way.Stock is the true essence of why you shop local. I’m grateful they exist. Highly recommend!!
