Dr Rawlings and tech Tayla were so patient and kind with our super wiggly boy at his second wellness exam, and I so appreciated them taking the time to answer all of our questions in detail and with careful consideration. We felt heard, cared for, and not rushed.
I always say that I wish our vets could be my “people doctor,” and that’s still true. We’ve been taking our dogs to PRAH since shortly after Dr. Linden opened it about 20 years ago and have always felt the competence and compassion she brought to the practice, whether we were seeing her or other staff.

I have never been around a group of people that are so kind, so knowledgeable, and so excited about what they do. I've been bringing my pets to Dr. Jane Linden (when it was just her!) since PRAH first opened about 20 years ago. That's how much I love it here.

I don't want to give a 1 because the doctor and tech are actually nice.
The front desk is a different story. If you dont follow their standards with your pet they treat you like you are an irrisponsoible pet owner.
Very degrading. When I called to make an appointment the woman was very curt, huffing on the phone and and made rude comments because we had not been in just over a year.
For an indoor only animal with no current health conditions.
Not to mention if you are a current patient they DO NOT "do all they can to get you in for emergency" They send you off to a clinic.
Completely unprofessional and the front desk is the reason we have moved on. I can't be the only one.
Thats the face of their facility and its unfortunate.
*Update - I'll bump this to 3 stars because the office Manager did in fact call me. Twice. When we spoke she assured me that how my experience was is NOT how they operate.
And we will be giving them another chance. I'm praying they can guide us with our sick kitty so she can live a longer life because the future for her right now is now bright ? and she's still young ?⬛?

Dr. Rawlings and the staff are very nice, was gentle with my babies. I would recommend this place to people. I had an issue and had to cancel my appointment, they accommodated my situation when they got a call and let me keep the appointment as scheduled.

I had a great first experience bringing my sweet pup for a wellness exam and routine vaccines. They were kind and respectful. I was comfortable with the staff and felt like they cared for my dog and I thought that the time spent with him was appropriate. They were informative and addressed our concerns. We saw Dr. Rawlings.

I took two years to write this because I did not want to revisit the memory of losing my tabby boy (and my best friend: human and non-human). We moved to Providence in 2022 and was looking for a new vet. I pinged one of my former students who is now a vet herself and originally from the New England area and she suggested that we try this hospital. Our tabby, Albus has always had health issues since we got him about a decade ago - he had some of his teeth removed, was diabetic and was dealing with kidney problems, and both me and my wife being scientists and big catlovers were VERY selective of where we would take him, especially as our previous vet was....terrible. On our first visit, I instantly knew this place would be our forever clinic. The admin staff were patient, caring and professional, and then we met Dr. Rawlings who has to be the most wonderful clinician (medical or veterinary) I ever met. She spent many sessions with Albus, giving us empathetic but honest assessments, troubleshooting at all the critical times. Even throughout the Thanksgiving holidays, she was inquiring about his health, keeping check on whether he was improving. The clinic were able to squeeze us in at the last moment at numerous times when we had an emergency. We tried everything short of an experimental kidney treatment in another state, but ultimately lost him.... But I feel somewhat contented knowing that he received the best possible care he could have had here.
