Very disappointed in hours and quality of products. Trying to get a small souvenir and the first time it was closed, next time they didn't have anything but shirts and hoodies.

Employees are just rude. Do not greet customers and watch you like a hawk. Literally picked up a sticker from the counter with the intent to buy it when I was done shopping. Proceeded to check out the other side of the store when the cashier asked “all set for checkout?” I found this kinda rude .. do you think I would really steal a $4 sticker? A sticker I could probably find on Amazon for cheaper? In the end I put the sticker back and left. First and last time I’ll step foot in this store.

FAVORITE STORE FOR PRESENTS! It is the perfect place to buy gifts: spa stuff, books, socks, clothes, etc. Such a cute place to look through!! Only problem is that it's expensive

Items in the store are fun and unique. If you are looking for a gift for someone who has everything, this is the place to shop.

This shop is so much fun. It's my go to every year when I'm looking for unique, funny, original, goofy gifts for the holidays. The prices are reasonable and the staff are really helpful. If you're looking for something different than the milk toast stuff offered up at the mall, check out Pleasant Surprise. You will be pleasantly surprised.

This was the first time I entered the shop with my cousin. There's an incredible selection of collectibles with lots of incredible scents like medical Marijuana. There was also a book of the queer eye dude that looks like Jesus and a Shakespeare book that made me realize he looks strangely like Dr.Phil. The customer service was incredible. The cashier even helped us name our unborn children. Incredible. I can't wait to see my beautiful baby boy, Philbert. Definitely recommend.

It’s not a stressful shop to work in even during Covid. Your employee behind the counter and shielded by plastic was obscenely unpleasant. And if you’re the young lady reading this, your boss & owner threw you under the bus saying pretty much he had to lower his standards to hire you.

Cute little souvenir shop. Bought a stone elephant and a couple of plush lobsters (very cute!). They had a sale going on so the prices were pretty reasonable. Staff was nice as well.

Is a bookstore? Am I buying a Pope Francis Action figure? Well, I decided to walk in based on the intriguing exterior of their storefront on Thayer Street as I walked by looking for my car. I remember I mumbled to myself "What is this?" as my curiosity intensified upon my entrance to this golden gem of a retail location. First of all, it's so much more than a souvenir shop! You can just tell they put so much effort into carefully selecting their inventory. Honestly, I was snapping photos every 2 seconds of their amazingly quirky and comical goods displayed in every crevice of their store. I browsed everything and came across so many amazing gifts making it even more challenging to narrow down my must-have items. ATTN:Millennials- this is your spot in Providence for some shopping when the basic stuff just doesn't do it for ya. #BeBetter

Great place for fun gifts! They have a lot of interesting books, magnets, coasters, kitchen items and lots of socks. There is also a small section for children. In the summer they have a strong assortment of beach stuff and cute sunglasses . Prices are a bit high but might be worth it if you find the perfect gift. Difficult to park on Thayer- park further away and walk over for less stress.
