Its really sad to see how this palace of a mall has declined and is, like other malls, failing miserably. Seeing Nordstrom and the Gap pull out of here are sure signs this place is not doing well. And seeing the stores that replaced those stores, discount chains and about 10 different sneaker sellers, you know the place is not going to last. At one time this was the model mall, carpeted and clean and a place where high end retailers would flock. Not anymore, the place is a disgusting shell of its older self and its surprising to me to see the quality of the stores decline and the amount of security staffing the place due to high crime and assaults and other random acts of violence in this place. What was the place to come to in Providence is now the place to avoid. What a nasty place and how sad this area has now become.

The exterior of the mall look great. However, inside the stores are dirty, elevators dirty. Honestly was just a big mess.

12/4/23 - It's 10:30 am and stores aren't open - This mall is not worth your time. Nordstroms leaves and then Athleta, Gap, Talbots exit. Macy's is low on stock, stained carpeting, dirty. The machines to pay for parking are always broken and not working. Don't even think about going here at night. Come on Providence have a little pride!

A large shopping mall in the downtown has outlets of many brands, restaurants , an Imax Cinema Theatre, and other entertainments. Paid parking and wi.fi frequent registration are 2 major issues staff is cooperative.

Providence Place Mall: A Hub of Convenience and Weekend CrowdsProvidence Place Mall stands out as the sole shopping destination in the entire city, offering a convenient array of stores ranging from tech giants like Apple to mobile providers like T-Mobile and AT&T. Most weekdays provide a serene shopping experience, allowing visitors to explore the diverse retail options with ease. However, be prepared for a bustling atmosphere on weekends when the mall experiences a surge in foot traffic. The popularity of Providence Place Mall on Saturdays and Sundays can make navigating through the crowd a bit challenging. It's advisable to plan accordingly if you prefer a more relaxed shopping environment. On a positive note, the mall features an unexpected gem – the massage chairs. These budget-friendly massage chairs provide a delightful and affordable respite, allowing shoppers to unwind amidst the weekend hustle and bustle. In summary, Providence Place Mall is a one-stop destination for diverse shopping needs in the city. While weekends bring about increased crowds, the availability of various stores and the surprisingly good and inexpensive massage chairs make it a worthwhile experience.

Amazing mall! The stores switch sometimes and has lots of fun things for kids and a while food court. I think it is better that Warwick Mall!

In the day and age of shopping malls closing, Providence Place still seems to be thriving. I recently went there with my daughter for school shopping and found a good selection of store choices as well as affordable options. After driving 80 miles to get here, it was a bit disappointing to see that my favorite store had closed up a few months before. Unfortunately, that is the day and age that we are living in with online competition. The only downside of Providence Place is that you have to pay to park there after a few hours. However, it was not enough to deter us from going there on that particular day.

It was very nice! I haven't been to this mall in quite some time. Pleasantly surprised how packed it was on a Sunday

I had never even heard of this place let alone been to one before coming to the mall. It's essentially a dept store w/ all kinds of stuff & great deals. I ended up getting two pairs of sunglasses & gloves because I couldn't decide between them & since they were on sale I decided to get them all. The service/cashier was friendly & helpful too. Great place to shop.

Modern clean mall attached to the Omi with a Macys and Boscov's store as the anchors. There is a Nordstrom's shoe store that has remained. Upstairs is a food hall with an IMAX cinema and views of the river. There were clean restrooms. What I did appreciate was small vendor set up tables inside and they're selling their hand crafts. Many were beautifully done and ethnic. We did buy a homemade banana bread from Paradise Pastries in Norwich, Connecticut.

The worst parking I have ever seen. It's relatively cheap, but you will spend at least 30 minutes when you get there and when you leave trying to find a parking spot and just get out. Even if you prepaid, it still does not speed things up in the least. It is an absolute nightmare and I will never be coming here ever again. Absolutely ruined my experience..

Most inaccessible shopping area in RI. No signs entering garage to say where any of shops are. No signs inside to elevators for people with mobility problems. No benches inside mall area to rest on. Came to go to IMAX. Seat numbers not easily visible. Lights very low. Again, no directions to elevator. And no option to get accessible seats when buying tickets. Main elevators only go down. Escalators to go up require you walk all the way around to get to next up one. Not likely to come again if any other option.

Providence Place is the largest mall in Rhode Island, with three floors full of action, all anchored on different ends by the Macy's and Boscov's department stores. In between are all the usual stores you can think of, whether Apple, Victoria's Secret, or, of course, Rhode Island's very own CVS. To me, it was all typical mall fare: the same old national stores you can find at most other malls plus a sprinkling of independent kiosks and shops. For me, the highlight of the mall was a large central atrium overlooking the Providence skyline and crossing - yes, you read that right - the Woonasquatucket River and the Amtrak train lines just above it. Quite an architectural feat to build such a huge building over such important natural features and infrastructure.

Best mall I’ve been to in the northeast for sure. It has a great variety of stores and three full floors. I could spend all day here. The parking garage is so convenient and a good deal as it’s free for the first three hours. Paying for parking is easy too as they have booths near the exits of the mall.
