*WORST METRO STORE EVER*YOUNG IDIOT SPANISH GIRL WHO CLOSES EARLY AND TREATS CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY'RE SUCKERS!!!Absolute WORST store I've ever been to! And when I say worst store I just don't mean the worst Metro PCS store, I literally mean the worst store I've ever been to! Employees had no clue how to do a warranty return for my Metro by T-Mobile home Wi-Fi modem that just stopped working for no good reason! Brought it there literally three times, no manager there each time, the two employees tried to help but really didn't know what they were doing? I mean seriously, it was awful. The next day when I went back I was told to be there at 8:00 a.m., I got there at 8:00 a.m. and was then told I had to wait until 9:30, well 9:30 ended up being 10:30 and the manager never showed up, she was laying in bed on the phone trying to tell the sales associate that was trying to help me what to do, which made him even more confused? I ended up being told that only a manager can do a warranty return and that associates cannot get in the system to do those types of returns. I then decided to call the Elmwood Ave Metro PCS store and actually found someone that was nice enough to help me and actually knew what she was doing. I got down there and she knew exactly what to do and actually gave me a confirmation receipt proving the warranty was initiated, and guess what? she wasn't a manager she was just a regular sales associate who knew what she was doing and actually takes pride in her job. So apparently the schlepps at dorrance street Metro store just didn't know what they were doing??♂️Moral of the story, stay away from the Kennedy plaza dorrance street Metro PCS store, they absolutely SUCK?

If you have Metro there is an Icon which will automatically connect you to the call center, I was having a lot of issues with obscene calls so they provided me with a new cell # which was so helpful & resolved the calls but my family & friends were telling me that when I text them or vice versa my old number was still showing. Now this was becoming an issue so I go to the store. About 4-6 Store associates there, and not one of them really even wanted to help me or took the initiative to fix the problem. Well now here I am being patient and thinking to myself that these employees should be able to resolve the issue so long story short , had my old chip w me from last # we them switched from phone to phone and it kept showing the text from my old number which I knew but they assumed I was just telling fables. Well now I'm besides myself almost 2 hours in and one employee realized it had to do with my number that was on my Gmail account but told me couldn't change it but I can fix the issue by getting the upgrade I have... So I'm like I need this fixed, need a phone, already stood here for 2 hours so I said yes to upgrade.. $220,00 later. NOT BY MY CHOICE,BHAD NO OTHER OPTION !! REALLY NICE HOW COMMISON IS MADE THERE BY ACTING LIKE IT COULDNT BE FIXED. NEVER VER AGAIN.. I GOT STRAIGHT LIED 2 AND BURNT. THATS AN UPGRADE LOL

Aside from the dead roach greeting you at the door in the attached photo. Lady tried scamming me $25 because I bought new phone on Amazon. Dialed 611 and activated my new phone EASILY on the automated system for free! 611 sent even sent me a link to update the data and text settings too.

I have been trying to get on the affordable connectivity program for 6 months and I'm still not there.i get messages from the national verifier to connect with metro and vice versa. 6 months I guess it's not long enough.also t mobile kept money owed me because I never received any products or services from them.now they want me to go into a store to verify my identity. I am elderly and handicap what do they really want?

TERRIBLE SERVICE! DISCRIMINATORY!!My mother went into this store to get a new phone and the clerk she spoke to (a young lady) told her that she could not have her old number transferred to her new phone. My mother then was forced to change her number and come home with a new one and they didn't even help her to transfer her data over to the new phone when she asked either.When she came home I let her know that was wrong and that she should call the toll number and let them know what happened. WHY would they not transfer her old number but then leave her old number attached to the account?!The lady on the toll free number was amazing and very sweet. She stayed on the phone with my mom until she could drive back to the store so that she could let them know how to switch the number over. You would think that was a little task and at least since another company rep was on the line they would at least be willing to help and they started off by denying her service and they wouldn't even listen to the rep on the phone! All they needed was the store code but they were so RUDE to my mom and had her coming home crying.Luckily, she did get her number changed with the lady on the phone to back her up but why be so rude?! They proceed to print a receipt with a very long and small text and won't even read the code to the woman on the phone. To treat someone like this who is vision impaired is INCREDIBLY SAD!!

I only left a star because I had to I would give you minus ten thousand stars.I've been a customer with MetroPCS for over about 10 years.The downtown location does not have a phone number listed so you can call them directly.Initially there were two sales people that work there I don't think they are there any longer they were great but in the last four to five years the service has deteriorated.I'm 58 years old the young people that work there are extremely disrespectful and threatening in their behaviors.They are totally unprofessional.I'm going with another carrier this morning I'm going to pick up my new phone now I can't wait to get away from MetroPCS and that predatory practicesI've ensured my phone for The last 5 year,When I have a phone that's defective.Metros telling me that I don't have insuranc. I will tell you one thing go to any other carrier Syfy Metro and especially avoid the dorrance street in Providence dorrance Street location.Very Rude mean spirited unprofessional and going to ruin their own business. location.This is a second and the last time that they've done that to me I would advise anyone go with any other carrier besides Metro they are very disrespectful and dishonest especially the location on Darwin Street in downtown Providence avoided at all possible costs and very unprofessional

-5 Stars due to an unexperienced workers cool take way too long to help out one customer and for not knowing anything about technology.ATAT IS A HUNDRED PERCENT BETTER. AVOID THIS STORE IF YOU ARE TRYING TO LOOK FOR A GOOD SMARTPHONE BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT FIND IT HERE.

Service at the providence location on Dorrance St. was helpful and respectful. Unfortunately the T-mobile location that was in Wakefield closed a couple months ago, being close to my home that store location was convenient. Needing personal assistance I went to the Dorrance Street store and was able to rectify my issues. The only downside was having to go to Providence to fix my issue. Nice people working there.

I was not thrilled about having to drive all the way to this corporate location to fix an issue with my account but ended up very happy that I did. Vanessa was the best! She was extremely patient and went above and beyond while going through my account and digging up every possible deal I could qualify for. I always dreaded having to walk into any of these stores because the service and attitudes in mynearby stores are horrible....however, I now have my store and my person! I will continue to visit this location for any future needs. Vanessa is definitely worth the trip! THANK YOU VANESSA!P.s...I also lucked up with a parking spot right in front of the entrance doors ON DORRANCE STREET...so I like to think I was meant to be there when I was. Again....infinite thank you's to Vanessa!

Always friendly even if you walk in angry. Vanessa was so helpful when I needed her help and kindness so much. And she was from New York which made all the difference to me.
