My experience last week: the staff was very friendly (unlike the prior staff person a few years ago); the staff works hard and continuously; results came in quickly; it is a quirky set-up, you have to walk through a dr's office waiting room, down some stairs... If you aren't mobile, you'll have to go elsewhere.When we first arrived, we could hear the two staff people chatting and laughing genially. We thought (true confessions!) maybe they weren't working too hard, but once I got into the room where they take blood, it was clear - they're two very nice women who like each other! I came out to the waiting room to wait for my husband, and people were muttering a bit, so I told them that I'll take a friendly and competent staff over an unfriendly and competent staff anytime! There's a LOT of paperwork to do and they never stopped working! They're super nice!

Overbooked and understaffed. Always a long wait and understandably agitated staff. Lifespan strikes again.

Customer service ALERT‼️TY for getting this right Lifespan. After 2 yrs of getting the “not fun” Poke in every LS Lab/Prov & surrounding cities: By chance or expert design it’s consistently been this Groundhog’s Day-ish, woman centric medical procedure relief hubs; with no easily discernible leader.KUDOS for the caring, compassionate, eclectic- Professional Menagerie of kindness.

This place is weird and a bit dingy. You have to go through hallways and a doctor’s office to arrive at the basement. However, the staff was super nice and competent. I just walked in and 5 minutes later they were taking care of me. It was also the quickest blood drawn I have ever had. Pretty painless too. Would recommend just for the staff alone!

Avoid at all cost! The absolute worst lab Lifespan has. You go into a waiting room with a sign that says pleas be seated and wait to be called but no one takes your name and no one even looks up when you walk in. The ticket taker is empty again. Extremely unprofessional and annoying. I sat waiting and waiting but no one even asked my name or looked at me. Not a very friendly office either. The staff doesn't even want to be there. Try another lab if you want my recommendation.

Ouch! After many jabs, and a huge lump from a torn vein, the clueless phlebotomist finally got a vial of blood. Never going back.

Had a terrible experience here with my baby daughter who had to get her blood drawn for a lead test. The technician was slow and kept moving the needle around while my poor daughter was screaming. She was not friendly and had no bedside manner. As a parent this was very hard to hold my daughter and keep her calm and receive such blunt and unemotional response from the technician. DO NOT COME HERE WITH A BABY.

Don't deserve the 1 star but had no choice. The women who took my blood extremely rude no compassion at all. This is not the job for her. She's in the basement for a reason.
