Friendly staff. Small selection, but had everything we wanted so we left happy. Prices seemed reasonable. $20 for a local organic wine is very fair.

Needed a keg or two for a wedding party, and wanted a particular type of beer. HSL (shout out to Colleen) responded immediately to my requests, kept on the issues of locating the one beer type and helping choose how much beer -- how many kegs of what sizes -- and the party got just what we needed. Pick-up of two sixtels was smooth, as the folks in the shop did the heavy lifting and were extremely friendly. thanks.

Great store for craft beer. A nicely curated selection with a very good number of interesting beers, as well as the old standards. If you are looking for beer that tastes like french toast, you'll find it here. Their selection of fruited sours and ales and hard to find stouts is second to none.The prices here aren't cheap but that's to be expected in Providence next to a Wholefoods. The staff is remarkable and really friendly. They are knowledgeable about the products and are happy to chat about craft beers, wines and liquor without being pushy.Chances are if you need a celebratory bottle of wine or liquor, they'll have something for you. But don't expect to find allocated bourbons or anything very hard to find from a wine standpoint. Their lower-priced wine is interesting and they have a small selection but good choices. As for cordials, vermouth and mixers ... very good variety.If your wallet can stand it, there's really no reason to go elsewhere for craft beer in RI. Pro tip ... they also have a wall of vintage beers that would make fantastic and rare gifts.

This owner operated shop on the East Side of Providence specializes in organic, biodynamic and natural wines as well as handcrafted spirits and craft beer. I have stopped in a few times and I like the selection, the prices and the customer service. I have gotten some nice microbrews, delicious wines and flavored spirits as well. Plenty of parking since it's located next to the Whole Foods in the large strip mall.
