Went to the store to do a return. I paid cash and had my receipt. The cashier and manager both said they had to have my email and phone number to process the return. I was hesitant and relayed I did not want an account or to sign up for emails. They said no problem it is just for the return. As I am walking out of the store I get a notification about signing up for emails/rewards for JD. Ridiculous.

JDS should be ashamed he has a lousy staff, a tall boy with blond hair and light eyes started talking about me with his peers saying that you will count to three to steal, just because I don't have a high level of English means I don't have the money osra buy what you want my parents are both professionals for me to have to steal, apart from that I asked if they had another size and he didn't even check and he said no and took the sneakers off my hands

I visited the JD Sports in Providence Place Mall and their corporate should be ashamed. Their staff were working to accommodate the customers in the store including myself but the foul leak by the registers was disgusting to say the least. I couldn’t believe that they were making their employees work in those conditions with nothing but a trash can to catch the leak. I would give a zero stars just for that but they were redeemed by their customer service. I was trying to try on some clothes and got hit in the head with whatever liquid was leaking from the ceilings. Unacceptable, do better.

Very disrespectful manager Destiny. Was asking about a pair of shoes and I couldn’t remember the name of the shoe she rolled her eyes and said “ugh idk wat ur talking bout so I can’t help you”. I’ve been with management for years. By far the most worst experience I’ve ever encountered at a shoe department. District manager need to hire someone that has experience with customer service that has hospitality and work ethic. I would like someone higher up to contact me regarding this matter I already went to corporate this needs to be addressed.

Bring back Finishline, ever since the change we haven’t been getting exclusive access. Jd sports has become a haven for backdoor sales. The kids working there are giving all their reseller friends heads up before regular customers have a chance to even see what sneakers they have in stock.

Service 3 stars: wasn’t greeted by anyone and never checked on by anyone (despite obviously looking at shows and trying to make eye contact). Have to wave staff down for help. Some staff are happy to help other look like they don’t want to work. They drop you off a shoe size you ask for an walk away. Never asking if you need another size or how it fit.Shoe variety and price 4 starsSize options 2 stars

Grand opening was done very unorganized and poorly at providence place location. Having people make second lines while a lot of others have been waiting since the morning to get inside the store. The mall opens up at 10 but for them they needed to open at 12 and not on time as well but it was because they needed to make sure they take a photo of the grand opening and to make sure it which was aesthetically for the brand over customers(wasting more time). Waited over 3 hours to leave with nothing, a lot of sneakers we’re not available because it was allowed for people to purchase up to 3 pairs of the same pair of sneakers(very convenient for resellers). Will not spend my money at your stores and will make sure others go to others stores rather then here moving forward

I wish I could give this store a lower score. Walked in there a few times and this lady is always working. She is one of the rudest people I've seen in the shoe business. Has no prior knowledge of shoes and basically scams people when you try to ask her anything. If you need shoes go to walmart clearance rack, you will find her there in about 5 years. Useless and its actually a shame that a cold hearted person like that works in retail. If you go to finish line you will find her at the beginning. She prob got bullied growing up and thats why she is so rude and cold hearted. The one time she wasn't working this guy named Andre I believe was working and it was a breathe of fresh air finally talking to someone who cares about shoes like that guy does. Amazing guy talked to him for over an hour and he is so down to earth. A+ for that guy shame his manager is mentally handicapped

The staff is helpful and not overly pushy. He actually took notice of what I was looking at and gave me a helpful suggestion. That's a skilled salesman, not just an employee showing you products just to make a sale.

I think I already reviewed this location but if I didn't I will say no nonsense staff tell him what you want they'll produce it it won't try to upsell you or down sell you and that's to be appreciated in any retail experience.
