Might I say that their policy of charging $12 to expedite a replacement ATM card is entirely vacated by the fact that they - without notice to me - changed the PIN number on the new ATM, rendering said ATM USELESS for the next ten days? I live on the road, lost the ATM in an unfortunate gas station event whereby the gas station pump did not return it prior to pumping gas, and I simply spaced it, and forgot to collect the old one. Citizens promptly expedited - at a FEE - a new ATM card within 24 hours, but changed the PIN number on me without telling me - rendering the new card useless. As I write this, I have thousands in my Citizen's checking and savings account, and I don't have enough cash to do laundry on the road. I can't access it. The mystery of the non-working ATM was revealed today when they sent my new (and certainly unsolicited) PIN number to the addressor the road where they expedited my new ATM card. HOW was I supposed to glean that they changed the PIN, rendering the card useless for ten days or so? People rely on their cards. If you charge to expedite an ATM card, don't change the PIN number on folks without notice! I will be collecting my $12 expediting fee from you folks. If the card that arrives tomorrow has a NEW changed PIN number, I will be suing for costs in collecting an ATM card that works. It won't be cheap.

Greedy pigs. They took over my HSBCDirect.com online savings account. It had around $50 in it. A year went by, I checked my balance again, it was gone, they took it all with a $4.99 "monthly maintenance fee" that I knew nothing about -- until it was too late.

Citizens is absolutely terrible. Their online tools simply do not work and their customer service is slow and not helpful.

The past week, today is 230630, Citizens Bank online has been down. Went to a local branch and asked the teller what is going on. Phone support is completely worthless. She said they had installed new software. "Installed new software" ? Is that code for the bank has been unable to resolve a computer hack or that the Feds are about to take over ? Who can't fix a software problem after a week ! Always thought the pant load sitting in the 'manager' office all day was uh, what's the word, marginal. It is one thing to look the other way when Citizens Bank tries to price gouge customers on foreign exchange transactions but this is it, I'm done with Citizens. Good riddance.

Opening a bank account here was extremely easy. Very nice and kind people! They helped me with everything, with no rushes and consideration. They even spoke Spanish if I didn’t understand something! 11 out of 10!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE TBIEVES!!! When I went to close my account they charged me a $10 fee. I told them I am on fixed income and said they do not care.

Avoid doing business with this lender. I was trying to refi my rental with Citizens Bank because I was quoted a decent rate. However the loan process was insane! I provided all docs up front and every week they wanted some new. I was supposed to be clear to close with last conditions received by underwriting. Then they said they needed the rental comps from the appraiser that they sent 2 months ago and then added more conditions. This dragged on for almost 3 months and I finally called off the refi. What's a waste of time, energy, effort, and money. I will NEVER do any business with this lender again. If you are a consumer and reading this, trust me. Avoid the pain and go with another lender.

The team over at the east side location is the best! I say team because no matter which teller I go to I have a pleasant fast experience! Kudos! and keep it up! oh by the way I have been a member since 2009. and always happy! I can't believe that for any reason the staff at the East side branch deserves anything less than five stars!
