Friendliest, caring and a great atmosphere! Good food! Good people! Somewhere to go when you need anything or any kind of help or assistance! Just an all around great place! They even have a program called, Hands Up. It's a 3 week job, you work 2 days a week for 3 weeks and get paid at the end of the day, $50 stipend!! Not bad, sign up is on Tuesday every week...

The Amos house is life changing. Helping woman, men and families get by in this new world we find ourselves in. Trainings for higher paying jobs, breakfast and lunch free for the community. Food, drug rehab, homelessness help, DCYF troubles, driving records. You name it, someone there will have the answers, or an idea.

It’s incredible what good the Amos House does for the community. Twice a day they serve up to 800 people in need of a fresh cooked meal. When I volunteered, we packed lots of frozen food with protein like chicken, rice, fish, corn, and more. People could get the fresh meal, a frozen meal, attire, and much more.

A great resource for any of those less fortunate! Also a fantastic opportunity for those suffering with Substance Abuse and/or Alcoholism to receive support services and assistance in their journey through recovery.

I actually went here and earned a few certificates after I got into the building trades program. Don't expect to see a bunch of Ivy league folks dressed like college professors. Expect to see normal folk like you and I making a sincere effort to help u IF you really wanna help yourself. You may see regular people off the streets there as well, but everyone needs help. Great staff, great programs and honestly, a great opportunity.
