Absolutely loved this stylish, modern hotel in the heart of downtown Providence! We only stayed one night, but it was a memorable one. Valet parking is $40/night, though there’s nearby garage parking if you want a cheaper option.
The hotel staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, we couldn’t check out the rooftop because of a private event, but the lobby bar more than made up for it—the cocktails were top-notch! Another fun feature: there’s a pool table and gaming room to keep you entertained.
Just a heads-up: the room is an open layout, so there’s no door between the glass shower/sink area (only the toilet has a door). That said, the room was spotless, the lighting was ideal for makeup, and the shower had excellent pressure, plus Drybar products, which was a cute touch.
All in all, we’d definitely stay here again—hoping next time to catch those rooftop views!

This review can be summed up in two words: Cold Showers. There was a complete lack of hot or even tepid water in the faucet or the shower, both at night and in the morning. The location is great, the views over the city and river are excellent, but be prepared for ice cold showers. Be very prepared.

Pros: the location of the hotel is great! And easy parking very close. The staff was great, everyone was helpful and very friendly. The rooftop bar was a great option to get a bite to eat later in the night, and we really enjoyed the food we got. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Great modern TV in the room!
Cons: my main issue was with the room. For the price I paid I would expect a nicer room experience. Our shower door squealed like it was being murdered anytime you opened it. The fitted sheet on the bed kept coming undone and the mattress pad kept getting scrunched up under the sheet, which was not very comfortable. The worst part was that our room was located right above one of the outdoor speakers and for the first two night we stayed there the speakers were playing music 24/7,all day and all night.

The traffic noise all hours of the night is not conducive to light sleepers

We love the location of this hotel as it's walking distance to our son's college. There is easy to find parking close by as well as places to eat and a TJ's down the street. It is also close to the river and waterfront--lots of things going on. Hotel itself is very clean and modern and the staff are very friendly!

We had brunch at the BluVoilet bar on the roof. It was great service, good portions, perfect drinks. They had sublime views and a DJ. The hotel lobby was gorgeous and I will stay here next time I'm in Providence.

Good central location. Clean. Good shower. Annoying night light on bathroom you need to flip the ground fault on. Good lobby bar. McKenna at front desk is the most amazing hotel representative ever. Helpful friendly quick! Valet parking slot. Beware. If you prearrange a time it won’t matter.

Great hotel, good staff, little lean on facilities - its not a robes or slippers place- but otherwise great stay. Nice decor. Large rooms. Good to have free HBO max so i could catch up on shows we dont get in the uk

Very friendly staff with a perfect location. The hotel is a great option for enjoying Providence and it is not very far from the airport. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable.

Staying at this hotel is like being in two different worlds. The location and view are absolutely stunning—picture-perfect, even. But then you walk into your room or look into coffee pot, and it's like they've decided to play a practical joke on you. The coffee pot looks like it was a last-minute garage sale find.

I have to give this property a stellar review for our recent 3 night stay. The location was great, service was great and rooms were great for the price. They literally say "different by design", so if you are not expecting a loft room, or something a little different, don't stay here. It is not a Ritz or even a standard Marriott for that matter. We had great interactions with everyone we met. Kellie S. (part of the sales team) couldn't have been more kind and accommodating. What else can you ask for?

The only downside to this place is the unavailablebility of laundry on location. Other than, it is the perfect place. The staff is amazing and very sweet. We were a large group of 27, we were probably the noisiest there. Great rooms, awesome view. Everything is close by, restaurants, shops, and the park is right across.

Great stay at the Aloft. The location is walking distance to Brown, several restaurants and bars. I got upgraded to a suite. Also, the service was amazing (shout out to Amy at the front desk).
