Terrible service. The representative on 11/2/2024 named Jennifer & whoever was her supervisor were the most rude ppl I ever encountered. AFTER TAKING my money, they denied me roadside assistance. I had to find a way home w/my 88 yr old mother & crippled sister which is also elderly. They made me walk w/them 2 miles & then cancelled my membership. TERRIBLE PPL... TERRIBLE!!!!

I got a flat and have no spare. Stranded in Boston at 4:15pm on a friday. On my way home from a dental appointment with my daughter who has special needs. We were picked up at 7:53pm. Over 3 1/2 hours later. There is an opportunity for someone to create a competition to AAA here because this was the worst experience I have ever had with my daughter.

Scheduled a tow at 9:50am. Tow truck came at 12:10pm. Horrible wait time. We are paying for horrible service. Maybe we should get a new road side assistance. Do better.

Just finished getting a new auto and home insurance policy from Ariel Cabral. She was excellent. Thorough, knowledgable, and her quote was very aggressive. With insurance rates going up everywhere its worth a call to have her compare. Don't overpay for insurance like I did for years.

My recent feedback to AAA for their "roadside service"...
Well, as far as AAA knows, I may be dead on the side of the road because no one EVER showed up and no one EVER called to see if I had been helped! I placed my initial call at 9:15pm and informed the dispatch that I was locked out of my vehicle on Airport Rd. In Gardner, MA. At this time I was told that someone would be there by 10:15. At 9:36 I was called to confirm that I was locked out of my vehicle and not that the vehicle wouldn't start. I called again at 10:25 to find out the status of my help as it was getting cold. I was told that someone would be there by 10:57! At 10:39 I received another call to see if I was in a safe location. I called again at 11:04 and was told the service should have arrived by now and that they were coming from West Street Automotive on West Street in Gardner. I informed them that I could have walked there and back since my initial call! I received the last call at 11:09 saying that the service is in route and they would contact me directly to give me an ETA. By 11:45 I was freezing and had to call my husband who had to come get me. Thankfully he was able to get into the vehicle. I never canceled the service request. I was NEVER contacted by the service provider OR dispatch to make sure I was all set. I have been a AAA member for 5 years. This is the first and last time I will ever use your service. Actually, I never did use the service as it was a NO SHOW.

Despite having a valid membership card, and a manager confirming that I was told my account was valid until the being of August, AAA left me stranded.
A disgruntled customer service representative canceled my account during a call for roadside assistance, because he was trying to pressure me into renewing.
Ironically, I would have renewed had he not tried to strong arm me.
Customer service representatives throughout the company acknowledge that my card says it's valid. They acknowledge that I was told my account was valid. They acknowledge that my account was canceled on the day I called for help. They acknowledge that I have a 200+ bill for a tow they wouldn't give me.
Despite all those acknowledgements, the only thing they've offered is a discount on a new membership.
???? You didn't honor the first membership and I have a 200 towing bill.
The worst customer service I've had in my life is from a company that prides itself on its company service.
Shame on you, AAA!

Last year my daughter had to call AAA and she waited over 3 hours. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. She called again last week because her keys were locked inside the car and she waited over 2 hours. Today in this hear she is stuck and has been waiting too long again. I think it's time to cancel AAA because their customer service is horrible!!! I gave them one star because there isn't an option to leave less than that!

Did AAA Insurance Company kick the business bucket?
Once a great name, now struggles to survive.
On Oct 12, 2023, I signed up with a sales rep named Liz O from AAA for a premium auto insurance policy for my two cars. According to Liz O I was qualified for several discounts. Or she just wanted to keep the rates competitive with other quotes I showed her.
My policy was set to go in effect from Oct 15th, 2024, to April 15th, 2024. AAA walked back every discount the sales rep gave me, and my policy ended up being way more expensive than other quotes I have gotten when I was shopping for a quote for nearly 2 weeks.
I had numerous issues with AAA, from excessive attempts to pull more money from my bank account to cancellation and reinstatement.
They always had an excuse, everything from making up a lie, to you will lose another discount if you do, to your account is not current so give it a few more days for payments to be processed. Keeping in mind this is a fully paid policy.
AAA activated and deactivated this full paid upfront policy more than 12 times in 6 months, most of the times I had no idea, and I would find out by accident when I’m on the call for something totally irrelevant.
AAA charged me $120 more for mandatory premium membership outside of the auto insurance policy since their policy doesn’t come with Roadside assistance. I needed that membership 2 times and the two times I had my old insurance roadside insurance cover it before AAA made it to me, so I ended up canceling their service.
On April 15, 2024, my policy was up for renewal, however, AAA attempted to charge my bank account for a renewal even though I had notified them that that bank account is closed. AAA charged me for 5 bank transactions each occurrence $20-$35 dollars long before my policy was up for renewal.
I gave AAA a new bank account number and authorized the transaction, they again attempted to collect several times causing my account to go into a negative state due to standard (pending/hold) which takes days to process. The bank released the money to AAA on April 19th, 2024. Again, AAA charged me reinstatement fee and bank transaction fee, and began to continuously spam my bank account for additional charges were progressively increasing with each attempt as they continued to apply fees and transactional charges each time.
Once again, AAA cancelled my insurance, but this time for expiring AAA membership, which somehow ended after 6 months although it’s an annual membership and fully paid. I notified AAA that I’m no longer interested in their roadside assistance services or their membership. They responded by saying that I may not be able to renew my policy beyond Oct 15th, 2024, unless I sign up for AAA membership.
Less than three months after the fully paid policy was activated, AAA decided to cancel it again, this time alleging that that my bank blocked them from drawing money. I asked what money you are trying to collect. They said Well you had $20 dollars reinstatement fees which now accrued penalties, fees, and other charges so we canceled your already fully paid policy and sent you some money back. As always, I only found out about this cancellation by accident. After 2 torturous hours on the phone with a very unprofessional, careless, disrespectful representative, she finally gave me the option to reinstate the policy but only if I paid back whatever they allegedly refunded me plus ALL THE FEES she is adding to it. I cannot go to work without insurance, so I had to agree under duress and pay AAA yet another ransom to keep an active policy.
I have been driving for 26 years, I never had any lapses in my insurance coverage, never had any issues with my insurance companies, and never been blackmailed by any entity until AAA.
It seems as if AAA Insurance are so desperate, the only way they can stay survive is by canceling/reinst
