There's nowhere I would prefer to send my child. The teachers are so attentive to the students' needs and after only four months my son has developed so many skills that will be necessary for kindergarten. It is affordable and the quality of care is unmatched.

Our daughter has been attending Portsmouth Nursery School for the past two years. The school is very clean and the teachers are phenomenal. From Portsmouth Nursery School

Portsmouth Nursery School is a private, non-profit preschool. We are a parent run school. We are half-day program from 8:30 to 12:30. We have a 3 year old program that meets Tuesday and Thursdays and a 4 year old program that meets Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Our student teacher ratio is 1:6. Our uniquely large classroom consists of one head teacher and two assistant teachers. The goal of our program is to provide a nurturing, play-based environment while fostering independence and socialization. Our curriculum is in accordance with the RI Early Learning Standards.
