For my husband it was Easter and Christmas in one day. When a woman wants to do something good, which is also very nice for herself. The volunteers were very nice and knowledgeable.

We went with a small expectation of the museum and left with really great experience. Getting to see a lot of cars through the decades, makes it fun for all. I went with my parents and 6 year old. Fun place and great staff!
One of New England's most beloved attractions, the Newport Car Museum has over 100 cars constantly on display. The private collection (yes, it's one owner who likes to share the art of the car with the public) is displayed brilliantly in seven handicap accessible galleries: Ford/Shelby, Fin Cars, World Cars, Porsche, Corvette, Mopars, American Muscle. Award-winning films, era-appropriate music, impressive consigned artwork, Mid-Century Modern furniture, and a giant gift shop (some call it the eighth gallery) embellish the experience. Only minutes from Newport, R.I., this outing takes approximately 90 minutes (but you might want to stay longer) and is appropriate for all ages. It's affordable and offers free parking.
