$10.99 for a 3 day old half loaf of whole grain bread, in the bakery at Clements . $8.99 for an organic baby lettuce mix, that’s $4.99 everywhere else. Very over priced. $50.47 total cost for 6 cara cara oranges( 3 of which turned out to be rotten), 2 Macintosh apples, 7 bananas, a small head of broccoli, one large sweet onion, a pack of sweet tarts candy and one recess’s peanut butter cup. Never stopping here again under any circumstances. The pricey fruit isn’t even fresh. The 5 star reviews are from friends of the employees and owners. Even those reviews mention it is overpriced. I think I was the only shopper not wearing Canada Goose or carrying a Louis Vuitton bag. This is defiantly a store for the Volvo-driving -see-and -be-seen crowd. I have never witnessed more apathy from a register clerk and bagger. Must be depressing working for minimum wage and waiting on ridiculous-snooty-snoots all day.

This was my everyday store when I worked in Portsmouth. Even though I haven't been in this store for awhile they still carry so many ready to eat products. The prepared chicken is the best. So moist and delicious compared to other markets. Very friendly employees willing to help. Definitely worth going over the bridge.

Have I ever rated a grocery store? No. The reason why I'm doing so this time is it's just a special local store filled with most everything you could need and the friendliest employees I have ever seen. It's like a store locked in time in a really special way. And because I kept forgetting things while cooking, I came back at least 3 times over a few days while visiting Portsmouth for the holidays.

$9 for a pack of 5 bottom-of-the-barrel chicken breast cuts, 4 of them weren't even edible, just absolute mush.can't justify the premium price anymore when the quality keeps going down.

Wide selection of high quality grab & go meals & sides is a big draw for locals & ocean vacationers alike. FRi,Sat,Sun they smoke their own baby back ribs in a little shack. This earned them a 5th star. Delicious.
