Great company big hearted people great prices these jobs take time.When deal is settled they give a idea of when job will be completed just like anything else you run into soeed bumps..so be patient let be patient and let nature take it's course....these guys stant by law enforcement programs for kids they try the best they can do..trust me this is a very good business....good luck A-1. Our driveway had lots of tree root damage. The guys at A-1 paving did a thorough job removing the roots and making the driveway more level so we can easily park our RV. I would highly recommend A-1.

Andy, Cheryl, and the crew did a great job. I looked around very carefully, had 3 companies look at the job, and Andy offered the best response, confidence he could do the job, and stood behind his work. It was a very tricky job with slopes coming from three directions. What I was impressed with most was that Andy always either picked up or called right back. Also, he had 8 guys working the job quickly and as my wife said "They look like some dance going on out there. Everyone knew their role and it was like a ballet flowing around gracefully." I was worried about this job since it was botched by another company last year, but Andy and his crew bailed me out.Service: Driveway installation

Signed the contract in October 2021 was told it would be completed in the spring of 2022. They came in May and dug it up. June to lay the first coat and August to finish the job. They SEVERELY lack in communication. The estimate which was signed making it a contract was not adhered to on their end. I do not recommend this company to anyone.Service: Driveway replacement

Non responsive, was promised a time frame but the weeks/ months passed. I always had to call for an update. I think my job was too small. I went with a different company.

Working across the street from my house and took their break sitting without shirts on in front of my house. Questioned "why" when I asked them to leave??? The manager was topless and very unprofessional as well. Not to mentioned not a mask in sight. I certainly would never hire them to pave my driveway!

I just had A-1 Paving of Portsmouth, RI remove and replace an 80 foot driveway with a lot of hills and valleys. A-1 did a thorough job, digging down a foot to remove clay and rebuild the base with gravel. The finished product does exactly what I asked A-1 to do in terms of drainage. They were on time and under budget. I highly recommend A-1.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Less than impressed with their professionalism. So rude their drive intentionally spit on the side of our car as we were passing by. You should really consider removing your company's name if you are going to act in such a classless mannor.
