Rarely do I review businesses low because I know tough days happen, mistakes happen, and as someone who works in the service industry, I try to give a lot of grace. But in my opinion how you handle mistakes is most important. We booked our appointment almost 3.5 months in advance only to show up, in the rain, and be told "no" as the owner flipped through her books. I mean that quite literally as there was a conversation, just shaking the head and saying no. We weren't going to stand and argue as other dogs were being groomed and I'm realistic that they aren't going to magically conjure another groomer for our dogs. I called after we got back home and asked when they do have our dogs booked in effort to see if we maybe added the appointment to the wrong day in our calendar and they just weren't in their calendar at all. I expressed that we were going on a trip which is why we wanted to have the dogs groomed and with everyone booking in advance, now we won't have the ability to do so. Of course, we'll just do it ourselves. I shared, while I'm happy they are popular (and they do a reasonable job which is why we go there), if they couldn't get us in, I'd expect, "here's a later time", "here's a date we can squeeze you in," ANYTHING. She then went on to explain the we must have called somewhere else because they only book 1 month out. I explained we have only exclusively booked with them so it wouldn't have been another place, and whether it was her or someone else in the store, they shouldn't have committed a date more than 1 month out if that's not standard. To note, both us and my in laws book there and regularly appointments are more than a month out. She then admitted there was another person who doesn't work there anymore that might have committed the future date. So if that's the case, how about you focus on what you CAN do instead of nothing at all. This was extremely disappointing and we won't be going back. I'd recommend they implement some sort of confirmation system to avoid this issue (because at this time it's just call and book and apparently hope they've written you in).

I am VERY, VERY disappointed. I brought my dog to get a trim service this past Saturday. I first wondered to myself why they didn’t even bother putting a bow in her hair like they always do. That night I take her to go visit my moms home. While my mother was trying to touch her face my dog bit her. Which was a very strange behaviour. The very next day my partner realized that my dog had a cut on her FACE! A deep one at that. The least that they could have done was let me known what happened so that I was aware and also gotten her ointment for her bad cut on her face. It can be very dangerous if she is to catch an infection there. Wow I’m so hurt and disappointed. And no bow? No wonder, NUTS!

Started going here after PetCo let me down for the thousandth time and they always do a great job cutting my PooChin. He gets a lot of anxiety and moves a lot when being worked on but they never nick or injure him.

These girls are awesome!!!! If you go to another grooming shop … you need to stop going their and definitely go to Puppy La Peu .I have a golden doodle and I bring my dog nala their and they take such good care of her and do such a great job .. All 3 sisters

I stopped in there a few minutes ago to have my dogs nails clipped. The woman who helped me did a great job! Quick and painless for me and the dog. No hassle like at PetCo. I'll be back for sure! Great job!
