Dave was so helpful! He helped us get our paint for less money, mixed it for us perfectly, and had a great demeanor and his mask was worn perfectly! I felt very safe and I trusted his opinions - glad to have a guy like Dave and a great paint store in the neighborhood!

PSA! Attention required! As you may know,this is a corporate run location with staff members coming and going. I apologize for the unpleasant visit you had here in Pawtucket. This used to be a Glidden store. About a mile from home it was the place to go. Great quality paints close to home. They recently became PPG Paints. About a month back I stopped in to ask if the special formulas that they had in the system when they were Glidden are still available and I can get paint to my specifications when needed. Simple request right?Think again. I made my concerns known and the man I was speaking with just gave short answers like yes it SHOULD be available. I say well don't you know "It should be in the back" he replies. I finally get a little forceful and tell him "Then go check!" With an attitude he wanders off. He comes back with a better demeanor. He has my formulas written of a business card and says "If you need anything I am happy to help. Give me a call. I shrug off his juvenile "I don't want to be here please shoot me." attitude to just having a bad day and took into consideration he came out of the back room a lot more pleasant than when he went in and decided not to give up hope. It's a beautiful Saturday. I have been repairing my railing through the course of the week. Time for paint. I get to the store a few minutes before 12. 11:57 some clown is locking the doors. Looks right at me. I look at my phone not even noon. I would think if they want to serve the community and it was a photo finish he would let me in. After all I was at the store before noon. He proceeds to lock the second door. It's a small store where to walls of glass come to a 90 degree angle. Of course I see you. He ignores me. He really looked miserable and I was a pesky customer trying to cut into his drinking time. Long story short. DON'T SHOP HERE if you want any kind of customer service. I have better experiences at Home Depot and will shop there from now on for paints. I wanted to like this place too. Primarily because each store is a franchise and I would rather support this business owner than Home Depot PPG paint of Pawtucket does not care about you. They won't do the bare minimum forget going the extra mile to see that your project is the best it can be. Poor attitude closing early. I want the Glidden store back!!!
