“Wanted to thank Ann and her team at Seacoast Mortgage for getting me a fixed rate mortgage this spring just before interest rates nearly doubled! So happy with Ann and Seacoast's help and determination to get me approved and my mortgage closed before the increase in rates.... will save me tens of thousands of dollars over the life of my loan! Again, much thanks!”
“This review is very hard to write, but not for anything negative!
It's hard to write because how do you thank a team who has your back 100%, answers any and all requests, has you run numbers on every single property just to make sure you are ok at the safest price point.
My boyfriend and I had been talking about buying a house. We finally decided it was time. So we started to save and do what we could to make this a reality.
Incomes our friend Christine, who connected us with a company she works for Anchor Financial.
She as an employee spoke so highly of Joe and his team, that we I knew we would be in great hands.
We met with Joe and his team and as overwhelming this process is, we new we were in great hands.
Not only did they help us with the financial part, after a horrible experience with one realtor, Christine connected us to her realtor. This was a God send.
I never had the experience of buying a home, so I had no idea of the process. What I did know is that between my realtor and Anchor Financial I scored the best team I could have.
What I was not expecting was how difficult it was going to be to buy our first home. We had specific requirements on certain things we wanted, that we were going to take our time and not rush. HUH!!! With the rates changing, demand was limited, people were over bidding for houses, that we could never touch those prices. It became disappointing and very discouraging. However, my winning team kept our hopes high, they were always encouraging and reminding us not to give up.
We looked at probably 100 houses, submitted 9 offers. We did have 1 accepted offer, but we backed out during the inspection day.
Again, Anchor Financial kept us positive.
During one of the houses we were going to see, we passed another house that was for sale and both of us wanted to see this house.
We set up a showing to see it. I loved the feeling the house gave me. It had that old rustic country feel but not a house from the 1800's. The property was amazing!! We ended up going back a few days later for the open house. We stayed the full time just walking the 10 acres imagining us getting the house. So I prayed on it and messaged Alex "to run the numbers" I had him running numbers all the time( sorry, haha) anytime I apologized he would always reassure me, it was no problem at all.
The house was listed a little more than we could afford so we had to walk away from the house. Again...disappointment.
We continue our search. 3 weeks later, my boyfriend notices the house is still on the market, but $20k under her original offer. We reach out to Anchor Financial, they run the numbers, the rate dropped just enough that although it was a little over our max price, I knew this house was ours!!!
We submitted our offer and she accepted.
We closed on our house January 17,2024!!
Thank you Christine for everything. If it was not for you, I don't think Dave and I would be here today.
Alex, I am not sure if anyone else has you run numbers like I did and according to my realtor, she has never heard if that lol but thank you. I really appreciate you.
Joe, you have an amazing team. I truly cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us.
I will always recommend your company and I will always talk to highly of you all.”
