Although their stock can be scarce, the folks working here care for the store greatly and have genuine value towards their customers.
Quick and easy, just remember to “put your item on the scale before scanning your next item at self checkout” or you’ll be waiting for a staff member.

Worse place to have your prescription to open til 8pm but they never answer the phone after 6:55 for some reason will pick up my prescription tomorrow and they can go kick fly cuz CVS ON EAST AVE just suck oh and if you have prescription you better of dead cuz by the time you get an answer back you either going to be 6 feet under or on your way to your resting place . If I could give this store a negative 1 I would . Shut your door you not doing this community any favor by staying open . PHARMACY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN waste of space

Waiting for someone to UNLOCK a bar of soap so that I can buy it while I write this review... In fact, no one helped me. There was only one person working up front and he refused/could not unlock the soap. So I had to leave and drive to another store. FYI: The Walgreens on N. Main has less items locked up, and there was sufficient staff to help customers if they needed something.

CVS BILLS INSURANCE BEFORE VACCINES ARE ADMINISTERED & ACCEPTS APPOINTMENTS FOR VACCINES THEY DO NOT HAVE My significant other made an appointment at the East Avenue, Pawtucket CVS for Covid and Flu vaccines. Two days before the appointment CVS cancelled because they did not have either of the vaccines. So I made an appointment at the Walgreens at the corner of Mineral Spring and Charles in North Providence. He is beginning treatment for cancer and we wanted to get these vaccines done before he takes that hit on his immune system. When we got to Walgreens they discovered that they were unable to give him the flu vaccine because CVS had already billed insurance for it and they will only pay for it once a year. They attempted to call CVS and have them cancel their billing but the phone system there would not allow them to speak to a person, only leave a message. So we had to leave without the flu vaccination and we don't know when or how we will be able to get it for him. It is wrong to accept appointments for vaccines CVS does not have, and very wrong to bill insurance for vaccines that have not been administered yet. What a nice way to treat people who are already dealing with health issues!

Could the pharmacist be more rude? My doctor prescribed the wrong dosage, my BP is 25mg and the doctor prescribed 50mg and the pharmacist kept asking me in a rude manner if I was going to take or not. Like if was my fault. How can I have the wrong dosage? I even asked if I could break it in half and she walked away with an attitude. Then the other woman at the window changed from being nice to rude just because I refuse to take the medication, I said I was going to ask my doctor to fix it and send it again.

Went to to purchase a covid test. Picked the cheapest option (clearance 75% off)After using the app that was required to use test it informed me that the test had expired NEARLY 6 MONTHS AGO. The app also confirm the test was expired and made the test completely unusable.Went back inside to swap and the cashier was helpful but the manager shouldn’t be working anywhere related to healthcareDan(?) the manager was willing to exchange it, but told the cashier to tel me that the date was born on date which is CLEARLY false. He made this statement you without even looking at the test.It greatly concerns me that lack of concern this manager had for the products being sold and the potentially dangerous consequences that could come from inaccurate results.

Rude staff, long lines each time I've been here. Definitely don't go here if you are trying to use the UPS store function -- on multiple visits, I've found no one here knows how that works, and they are remarkably mean about it.

Took 6 days to fill my heart medicine on a partial and 3 days on my nerve medicine pretty sad you have to keep calling and going into the app over and over and it still took 6 days. Also I had to wait over 3 hours for meds to get filled because the pharmacist has to do COVID shots instead of a dedicated staff member also 3 people short on staff at the time. Wonder why people quit short pay, overworked and part time schedules. Love you ♥️ Gary sorry they can't get you more help.
