“Awesome meat market. They have great regular prices and amazing specials. Huge variety of meats and fish, mostly Latino speciality foods in dry stock and freezers, good selection of fresh produce. The employees are extremely helpful and are all bi lingual. Definitely worth the trip to downtown Pawtucket. Shop local!!!”
“I did not know these brick and mortar locations existed, but now that I do, I will be making the 35 mile drive religiously. Friendly staff, very helpful, huge selection in a small store, and they want you to walk out with arms full of meat and the feeling that you robbed them”

“Respect at Central Meat Market is earned, never given.
Though I’m still a nobody behind their counter, I know good things come to those who wait.
Ultimately, this is some of highest quality meat in town. If you can't stand heat, get out of kitchen.”

“When I celebrated Greek Easter on May 5th this year, I wanted to roast a lamb on a spit, and I wanted it to be fresh lamb. I reached out to Jerusalem Meat Market, and they told me that I could buy fresh, Rhode Island lamb from them. It was 20 kilos. It was slaughtered on Friday, I picked it up on Saturday, and I cooked it on Sunday. It was THE BEST LAMB I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE, and I have had it many times in Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, and more importantly Greece. Yes, I cooked it with Greek spices and lemon, but when our Lebanese friends who normally do not eat lamb say it was delicious, and two vegetarians made an exception to try it and said it was great, that tells you something. Yes, it is cheaper to buy a frozen lamb from New Zealand or Australia at a large meat market, but if you are celebrating only once this year, do not insult your guests with gamy, foreign lamb. Go with tender, grass eating lamb from Rhode Island, and enjoy it. After all, it is better to have a little bit of something good, instead of a lot of something bad.
BRAVO!”
“One of my classmates had our lunch catered from here and I must say, this is some of the best home food I’ve had in a while. It tasted like comfort and happiness. ”
“Love this place, they have good prices the place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Their meat case looks like it's very fresh cut meat. I'm actually thinking about putting in a application seeing that I've been cutting meat for 25 years”
