Not a friendly place. As a student I called to get involved with the shop and got hung up on mid sentence. Lack of professionalism. Walked in and was ignored.

Good Barber shop in central Avenue. The old lady is very good in her work. Charge is lower than other places. Only thing to get an appointment. I go all the time walking and get chance. Vibe also good.

I have been going to Barber Ettes for about 20 years now. The atmosphere is a perfect place to have your hair done it is quiet and relaxing!!! I stayed with Julie for a variety of reason...but mainly i have never been dissatisfied. Sometimes i will just say make it better....When you are fortunate to find a great doctor...dentist...it applies to your hairdresser as well...you DONT CHANGE...She is the best!!!!!

I have been going here for years. Julie is great! Always try to squeeze me in her busy schedule. I took my husband the last time there too & she did a great job on men's hair as well.

Been going here for a few years always been charged $15 for haircuts and I always give out a $2 tip. Sherry was very nice and always does a great job until today. She was cutting another man's hair before me he asked how much it was and she said 15$. So the man said charge the card for 20$. After I got my haircut she said it will be $18 ask me how much I wanted to charge the card expecting me to give the usual $2 tip I always do so she can get another 20$ when the mens haircuts are $15 and she just charge the other man 15$. I said leave it at 18$ and left and didn't want to make a scene but I'm leaving this review very disappointed! going to find another barber ☹️
