“I went to Kohl's in North Smithfield to look for a couple of items, upon cashing out on Saturday, 7/20, I didn't receive the proper e-mail notification for the receiving the percent discount. There was an error in the notification. She helped download the Kohl's application. The associate Whitney who helped me was so very helpful, patient & kind! She was very informative and if you happen to have & meet Whitney, she was the BEST and has the best customer service! We need more people like her in the world today! “I walked into this Garage store, mainly because my husband's niece used to work here and she was always saying good things about the store and the brand. I looked around for something for one of my nieces and I found a lot of really nice "young" fashion. The prices are a bit on the high side compared to other stores that cater to young females, but the look and the styles are definitely different and a bit more trendy. Garage primarily targets fashion for young women. Founded in 1975 as a subsidiary of Groupe Dynamite, Garage currently has locations in Canada and the United States. The first store opened in Quebec in 1975 and in 2007, they opened their first stores in the USA. Now many American malls have Garage clothing stores.”

“This is one of the best Hot Topic around. The Providence Place Mall is a very busy place, reminds me of the old malls where you can go and get the products in person. My daughter loves the variety that this hot topic provides. Alot of those Japanese anime stuff,to bands,to Pokémon products. Give it a try.”

Literally packed from floor to ceiling with unique clothing. This is not a normal boutique and this is SOOOO quirky and fun. True star of the show is the owner themself. “Everything about this place is incredible. Rachel, the owner, is a genius when it comes to finding you the perfect dress. I am a plus sized woman with a very large bust and a smaller waist, and I have never been able to try on a gown in a store before and feel good about it. The first dress she put me in looked like it was made for me. AND THEN THERE WERE MORE FOR ME TO TRY!!! That never happens! I almost cried. For me, having the experience of shopping in a boutique for something that is almost impossible for me to find was mind-blowing and such a boost for my confidence. Rachel has so much experience and knowledge, the store is beautiful, the selection is huge for a wide range of sizes, and the prices are reasonable. “Queen of Hearts opened its doors for the first time in 2006 by Karen Beebe. The store is a fashion boutique featuring cool jewelry, colorful dresses, and unique accessories. Last time I stopped by, I was checking some jewelry accessories for a gift....they do have lots of fun stuff that you don't usually see at a larger department store. Year round, the store provides complimentary gift wrapping for all purchases...The business is very dog-friendly.”

“My 13yr daughter and I stopped at the store to get her a few tops. As we were about to cash out, my child noticed she lost her $40 that she had in (her waistband ?) Miss Rose, a long time employee, heard the stress in my childs voice and immediately offered to help. Within 30 seconds I hear "I found it hunny"!! Miss Rose not only helped my child but gave her some motherly advise as to where to keep her $ safe lol. Thank you Miss Rose for your honesty and teaching my daughter a great lesson. Most of the time they ask if I need help with anything then they tend to leave me alone after that (I'm grateful for that--I don't like associates who follow me around) As for the clothing itself, it tends to be a bit pricey but I guess thats to be expected with plus size clothing. Personally I like the clothing selection at the Emerald Square Mall a bit better”

The store used to be on the second floor of the mall and it was really expansive. Now it is on the main floor, a bit smaller, but still showcasing nice clothes. “I decided to go into this Zumiez to check their T-shirts. The store is pretty large and a bit crowded....they did have a lot of colorful clothing for men such as T-shirts, shirts, sweatshirts and underwear. In the back they have a section for skateboarders with colorful skateboards. The staff was pretty busy when I walked in, so I did not get any assistance. Zumiez is a specialty clothing store founded by Thomas Campion and Gary Haakenson in 1978, and publicly traded since 2005. The company is a specialty retailer of apparel, footwear, accessories and hardgoods for young men and women. Zumiez markets clothing for action sports, particularly skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. Zumiez is based in Lynnwood, Washington. “Spencer's is a really unique "gift" store...it's not your typical Hallmark store where you can get something for your mom or dad...it really is a store for the young and sometimes funky and trendy....some of the stuff like backpacks and pillows are cools and interesting, some other stuff is more into the mythical, mystique and/or risqué. I went to find a prank gift (they have those those) and there were many items that fit the bill....It's a bit crowded and a bit dark inside, but still a treasure chest of fun things ! Spencer's, is a North American mall retailer with over 600 stores in the United States and Canada. Their stores specialize in novelty and gag gifts, and also sell clothing, band merchandise, sex toys, room decor, collectible figures, fashion and body jewelry, fantasy and horror items. The company also owns and operates a pop-up seasonal retailer, Spirit Halloween. Spencer Gifts was founded in 1947 in Easton, Pennsylvania by Max Spencer Adler as a mail-order catalog that sold an assortment of novelty merchandise.
