I was at this location this evening and I literally saw a mouse or a rat in the water Isle!! That is disgusting!!! This is a market where people buy their food . I told the lady who was doing the bagging when I was checking out..apparently she was aware of the problem. Very unsanitary and the Department of Health needs to be called! I will not be returning anytime soon I'll just go to Market Basket in Johnston.

I shop here 2x(+)/mth on avg & the ladies restroom is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING every time I use it. Including today... The 1 employee @ the deli was helping someone w/ a large order while 3 others stood around (1 on phone) & I waited 7 minutes before I ordered 1 item! The produce was atrocious, huge moldy rotten grapefruits and Cara oranges. I watched 2 employees totally disregard them; 1 doing online orders and the other was rearranging all the fruit on the entire shelf! Of course there's only 2 registers open w/ an actual person to cash you out & yet again 4/5 employees walking around. The only reason why I pop in here is because it's the closest grocery store to me & I need a couple things.

Sunday May 26th 2024 approximately 11:43am I had the most unpleasant experience with self checkout employee. She was INCREDIBLY rude and left the shopping experience something to be lacking. First of all the help light was on for ages with no assistance and customer after customer being aided beforehand and once this employee came over I explained one of my items hadn’t been scanned and I just needed to scan it. She proceeded to look into my bag which had two items as well a couple packets of Mayo from the deli for the sandwich I was purchasing. My hands were warm and I didn’t have pockets. She proceeded to tell my friend and I that we cannot have that in there and while I acknowledged her I told my friend at this point it was already in there and so therefore fine. She responded with “no it’s not fine, I work here” and gave me a nasty look.
I truly believe this woman needs to look into retirement as she does not know how to assist patrons in a positive manner. Reprimand at the very least would do wonders or perhaps a placement switch.

Shame on this store. The commercial saying u will take things back. Is false. None goes there its too expensive. But i did. I wont EVER AGAIN.who saves a receipt duscusted. Lost a customer n alot of $$ i spent each week.

This seafood area always smells so gross. I usually get mine from the seafood market, but they were closed today and I needed shrimp.
I payed $16 for a pound and a half at Stop and Shop because I guess I was desperate... when I got home and opened the package it smelled really really weird. I thought maybe after I cook it, it will smell better.....nope, only made it worse. There is a difference between knowing someone is cooking fish and it smells nice, and your house smelling like a dirty aquarium. I added spices, butter, and lemon and after tasting it, I was repulsed. How can something actually taste like an aquarium? I'm not sure, but this is how my kids explained it. We LOVE shrimp, but this was NASTY. No one wanted it and I had to throw $16 down the drain.
I will never in my life buy seafood from Stop and Shop again, no matter how desperate I am for a last minute dinner decision.

Never shop here ever again, go to Walmart instead. It's over priced, dirty, and the new self checkout is a waste of time. Everything about this store is terrible. I would give this store zero stars if I could.
