Faithfully visited this salon every 3 weeks for the past 4 years, driving an hour round trip from my home. Loyal loyal customer to Kelvin. My husband would also join me at some appointments for a mani pedi. Their customer service at the front desk, specifically Jason was always rushed, condescending and rude. I was gaslit Friday by them for the last time. They NEVER run on time for appointments and have you wait, yet call you frantically if you are 1 minute late (146 traffic am I right)? Very strange how they gate keep the colors and the samples available do not specify the brand of the dip. All the colors are hidden and protected, despite having cameras (paranoid much). The prices at this salon are extremely expensive for a rushed and lack of understanding of accountability of their quality. Before I placed this review, I spoke to them myself. Kelvin completely ignored me and Jason said it was my "choice" to come to the salon, like they were doing me a favor. Save your money and go to a salon where you are valued and appreciated. This place is not it.

They were very nice when the woman was there all the time. Now is a boy and he is not that nice.They did my nail and when to take it off and they had talked me twice that they have not run to do it. We all know that you go there and they always have someone to do it.Twice differents days there something wrong. One girl asked me what Iwanted and almost got me in. But he come running and say he couldn't take me and I say you guys did this nails I need them off he start to raise voice and I say there is not need to scream . I am saying to the lady to come and check her place . He is no as her wirh people . I am very sad no one had done that to me anywhere ? . The price very high too and if you don't use gel even when having pedicure they won't fix anything even if a day after you have them done. Crazy. He done all that. The last time you want is to fight to expense your money, fight to have a service done.

I have been coming to OPJ for about 7 years now, I am extremely happy with the quality of service you get, best nail salon I’ve ever been to. Everyone does a fantastic job and are very friendly all the time.
Updated review 07/02/2024: I just had a pedicure and dip nails done by Trucey (hope I spelled her name correctly). Just the best I’ve ever had! It had been quite a while since I had gone due to my work schedule so she had her work cut out for her and she delivered. I am going to request her every time I go from now on, although I’m sure everyone does a great job. I also wanted to mention how clean the salon is, beautiful the way they have it set up. I recommend them highly once again.

I scheduled an appointment for dip nails, pedicure and eye brow wax. 7 nails had cuticles cut and bleeding, 2 of my fingers became infect due to cutting me with dirty tools. My nails are very misshaped and uneven, I could have done a better job myself. She did a terrible job on my toes and left them with very sharp edges that cut in to my toes. I had also scheduled my eyebrows to be done (all of this was scheduled weeks prior to my visit) when asked if I was there for nails and a pedicure I had mentioned I also made an appointment for my eyebrows to which the owner rolled his eyes and walked away from me. I had to ask again to get my eyebrows waxed after getting everything else done, which they reluctantly brought me back to do them. When I went to pay the owner had an extremely bad attitude and was very rude when he spoke to me. I spent $150 including tip just to need to spend more money somewhere else to fix the atrocious job they did at opj. Take your money to a salon that actually cares about their clients.

My Mom and I went in for mani/pedi's. The salon is very large, clean, and well lit. The techs who did our nails were fine. But there was a lovely tech who recognized my Mom and remarked about seeing her in there with my son. She was so kind and affirming. Overall the experience was positive and the price was reasonable ($66 for me, not gel and $88 for my Mom, who does get gel polish).

I went in to get my nails done for Mother's Day. As a long-time client of this establishment, I am extremely dissatisfied with the recent service I received. Despite my loyalty over the years, my most recent experience was unacceptable. The nail technician failed to deliver even the most basic level of quality, leaving my nails uneven and poorly done. The lack of attention and professionalism was evident, as the technician seemed distracted and preoccupied. Furthermore, the application of the solution caused unnecessary pain and discomfort, which has persisted to this day. I will not be returning to this establishment and would not recommend it to others based on this subpar experience. And I had booked an appointment too I was not just a walk-in. Yes I have brought in an example of what I wanted. Which is also pictured. And they don't do refunds which means now I'm stuck with nails that look like this or I have to fix them myself.
Specialties: I went there to get ombre nails. One of my middle Nails is still sore from how far he sanded down and then put a chemical on. He blamed it on the glitter however it's his job to know what works and what doesn't. And I know this because I'm an artist and I can do my own Nails myself I just deserve to be pampered sometimes

I've gone here a few times. You'll note from my other reviews that I am honest. I have not got a single "nick" here and my nails are always done perfectly. I highly recommend OPJ.
