Horrible service! Stay far, far away. They royally screwed up my taxes - claiming the amount I contributed to my IRA was taxes that hadn’t yet been paid. So they sent the form off to the IRS saying I owed $3,500 when in reality I was supposed to actually be getting some money back. Luckily I caught the error and they “fixed” it before the filing deadline. But then a few months later I got mail from the IRS reminding me to pay the $3,500! Absolutely ridiculous, never going here again! Never even got an apology when I confronted them about the the mistake the first time.

Do not use H&R Block to file your taxes, especially if you end up filing at last minute. My step son had to bring his taxes to be filed, at last minute, because his regular tax preparer is a d-bag. The kid is 27 yrs old, grossed about $35,000 last year as a 1099 contractor, and H&R Block in N Smithfield, RI, charged about $450.00 to prepare and file his taxes . Needless to say, my wife and I will never use their services, and neither will my step son ever again. Turbo Tax it is from now on!
