I went into this CVS with my weekly discount coupon looking for the best deal on paper goods. There are many options in terms of brands, sizes, textures, unit price, etc. It really takes a while to decide what you are going to get (AKA what is the best deal). The store had a very nice bright appearance and the parking lot was ample.Got my item, went through the self checkout register and got out....One thing that I really like about the CVS app is that as long as you choose the digital coupons you want, they all register automatically and very well in their computer. Very rarely I've had an issue with coupons that are not coming through.....I did my homework before walking into the store and I ended up saving about $6 on a purchase that someone else would have paid full price for...

I purchased this acetaminophen Gelcaps UPS 500 mg brand CVS HEALTH January 26 2023 from a local CVS store here in Miami BUTTHESE ARE NOT GEL CAPS. They are hard pills with powder inside them. I took 2 of them that night of January 26 for pain but I suffered all night, they did not relieve my pain. I called the lag in India Granues Pharmaceuticals to report this . This product is a fraud. It is being sold as Gelcaps but the product is not Gelcaps. I called CVS several times and was cut off, put on hold, transferred to some one else who then cut me off. CVS did not want to know anything I had to say about this fraud product. I believe there are millions of these bottles from India on CVS shelves being sold as Gelcaps that are not. Someone, please, investigate this.

The store it's self is not bad. But the pharmacy? Atrocious. I had to switch from cvs to Walmart because of them not always having the medication or I'm waiting 5hrs for my medication to be filled. Do better.

I don't think I could be more disappointed in a company and their representatives. My granddaughter arranged for us t done today at the CVS pharmacy in North Smithfield. We were super excited because we planned our entire day around what we considered to be a momentous occasion, mostly because we have been on the fence regarding getting our vaccine for so very long. Upon our arrival at CVS, we were checked in and awaiting our vaccine. Shortly after our arrival, a young lady and her mother arrived, apparently also for their vaccine. After they sat down in the vaccine waiting area, a pharmacy representative came over to them and stated that they had neglected to fill out their vaccine paperwork. Soon thereafter, a woman appeared and stated that she was to be administering the vaccine and promptly asked the same young lady to accompany her to have her vaccine done. I was a little confused since we had arrived first and stated to the woman that my two grandchildren and I were also waiting to have our vaccine done and we're actually there before that young lady. She looked at me, shrugged her shoulders, let out a laugh, and said, "oh well," and without skipping an additional beat, went right into the vaccination room and that was that. Shock and dismay was quickly replaced by disappointment and anger. This woman deliberately and with apparent pleasure, intentionally passed over myself and my grandchildren to take care of this young lady first, who was also obviously pleased with her clear entitled treatment since she started waiving her hand around as if celebrating something. After asking to speak to the manager and being given the complete run around, the same women emerged from the vaccination room. When she heard my complaining to other employees, she loudly stated that she thought we were all together, which was a complete untruth since I had made it clear to her that we were not. Very sad!!! I don't like to pull the race card but something went desperately wrong here. Myself and my grandchildren are of color where the young lady and her mother were white. How do I explain to my grandchildren that what they witnessed is most likely a case of white-on-white entitled treatment. How else do I explain what happened? I am looking for answers because I need to be able to tell my lovely grandchildren that it isn't that you are less important than that young lady that they choose to assist first. It's not likely that I will be receiving answers from this obviously dishonest team of health care workers but I am certain that the Rhode Island Board of Pharmacy will have a completely different view of these events and they will hopefully be able to unravel this unfortunate event and provide answers.

This is a huge location, with a lot to offer! Minute clinic location. They had what I was looking for, and as well as a checkout associates, they also offer self check out.

I actually wanted to say NO But it wouldn`t let me . Anyhow Not happy how the coupons from the redbox in the store spits out coupons and you buy the correct $ amount to get the $ amount off the item such as get $2 off when you buy $15 worth of diapers So you buy $20 worth because the shelf says get $5 extra bucks when you spend $20. So you still are spending the $15 BUT you can`t use the coupon and can`t get that $2 off because they said the $5 extra bucks you gave them went against the diaper UG! granted I spent $128 in total.

Just left the clinic. It’s nice to get in, get your prescription and be back home in an hour. Especially when you are not feeling well. All the pharmacy employees were very friendly too.

The store itself is nice, but the pharmacy is terrible. I tried to drop off two paper scripts that had refills on it. The pharmacy filled my meds but refused to enter the refills into their computer. They insisted that I had to keep the paper scripts in my possession and come back with it next month because they considered my regular long term meds narcotics and "they don't do refills on narcotics." (Say, what?) They said people complain the pharmacy loses their scripts, so they're not taking any responsibility of entering these scripts with refills into their computer. I've never heard of anything so ridiculous. First off, anyone sick or in pain enough to need anything narcotic is likely feeling very miserable and might not be well enough to remember what they did with that scrap of paper with their refill on it from a month ago. Asking sick people to take on that burden of not losing their scripts or having them stolen is an additional headache and stress on the patient. This policy is completely insensitive and problematic to the sickest population 2nd. No refills in system means no reminders. Very sick patient must "remember" when to fill it, if they can find their script in the first place. And since the refill is not already at the pharmacy, I cannot just call and have it filled, then pick it up when notified that it's ready. Which means... 3. Very sick / injured patient must leave home, drive to pharmacy to personally hand them the refill, then wait 60-90 minutes for it to be ready while in pain and feeling terrible. Or go home and make the journey AGAIN to pick it up. This is how this pharmacy treats their most vulnerable patients? By inflicting more suffering on them just because they can't handle an occasional customer complaint? 4. Worse. I've dropped off my refill 3 different times and waited to pick it up, only to be told they don't have it in stock and I'll have to come back in 3 or 4 days! So this ridiculous policy forces me out of my 3rd fl apt on a cold winters day with my injured leg and back for a trip to pharmacy with my paper refill and they don't even have the meds there and of course, won't pre-order any without a script in their possession. This nonsense would not be happening if the refill was in their computer already. This awful and ridiculous policy removes an "annoyance" for pharmacy, but causes additional pain and suffering for their sickest patients. I find it reprehensible that the pharmacy dept is ok with doing this just because they lack basic customer service skills in dealing with customer complaints. It's called "customer service training." Get some and do what pharmacies are supposed to do - take, manage and fill scripts.

I haven't lived in RI for very long but every time I come to this CVS it's great. It's very large/ clean and the staff are SO professional/friendly. Best I've ever been to. I really love that they carry drinks that I buy at the supermarket that aren't your run of the mill/ regular drinks you'd see at a convenience store. My probiotic drink is sold here and a clean energy drink that I love. They also carry vegan protein bars and other snacks that I enjoy. I wanted to write a review specifically about the Minute Clinic in this CVS but couldn't find the page on Yelp so Ill write it here I have never been to an urgent care or minute clinic before as they've always freaked me out but yesterday (Sunday) I was feeling like it was going to be an issue if I waited another day with how I was feeling. The wait was kind of long and the waiting area only has three seats but the check in process was easy. The female doctor that was on was super professional/friendly and made me feel comfortable when I was a bit uncomfortable trying a new doctor/ being in a new place. She was great- got me the prescription for what I needed/ explained everything/ and made me feel like I could come back again if I was ever feeling very ill on the weekend and in need. It's good to know this is an option for me. I would recommend it to anyone. SO great it is open on Sundays. Also, the pharmacy techs got my prescription from the Minute Clinic doctor and filled it within 10 mins/ They were really fast/nice/professional so I am not sure what the other people on this site are complaining about- I had one other experience where my boyfriend was VERY ill and got a prescription filled from his doctor and we had it within 15 mins the same day. Same experience then too. Just wanted to throw that in there.

Both the front store staff and pharmacy are always pleasant and extremely helpful, no matter the time or day it is. They always go out if their way to assist in any way possible and that alone exudes good customer service! Very clean and I like the new layout with the lower shelves (says the short girl). Never experience long wait lines, even during peak times. Minute clinic staff also always professional and nice. I do suggest registering online before coming in because some times can be busy and it's nicer to sit home and wait instead of being the store, especially when you're not feeling well. They will text you 30 minutes before they are ready to see you. Very convenient!! The only thing to pay attention to is the sales change over time Not all stores automatically switch prices at midnight on Sunday, the store manager can change it when they wish. (Example 9pm Saturday)
