Stay away from these guys. I bought a bad engine. 2 weeks later I call them. They wouldn't do anything about it They said they told me that I had to change the timing belt before I put the engine in. They never did say time in belt was bad If I knew the timing belt was No, good, I wouldn't have bought the engine. Why would I buy an engine that needed to be fixed? I could Have fix my engineThey R crooks and thievesi Stay away from Them

I just wanted to see the condition of the part I bought. I am a customer and the bald old man treated me badly. You cannot look when buying a product. If you want to look, you may be beaten.And in response, you say that the fault is mine, not his. But I just said I wanted to see it. I did not request to enter unsafe areas of your workplace. I think you can be more polite and friendly.

Went here to purchase a headlamp for an suv - staff was helpful, part was fairly priced. No complaints at all.One comment - there is a big sign on the office door that says NO PARTS TO BE BROUGHT IN - I figured out afterward that that's because the office is freakishly clean and tidy - think hospital level. The total opposite of what you'd think you'd be walking into at a junkyard. I applaud someone's OCD over there.Highly recommend them.

I ordered tail lights from this company at the cost of $200, 2 weeks ago with 2 day shipping. I never received my order and they stopped responding to me. They put me in contact with a spam shipping company who were trying to charge me money to have them ship it to me after I already paid K&R in full. I know I will not receive my order just as much as they do. I’m out of $200.

Was getting scammed off a Facebook page acting like them. Called them and they told me what happened and helped me find the part I was looking for. Super friendly people and easy to work with.

I needed a part for my truck and after an exhaustive search to no avail, I contacted K and R Auto Salvage and they found the part within minutes. Unfortunately, the part was damaged, I contacted them, told them about the part and they were able to find me an another part that was undamaged, they did this lighting fast and were very professional about the return. I highly recommend them and would do business with them again. Another plus, is that this salvage yard was impeccable in the appearance and shows they care about their business, community and customers.

Just wanted to thank Renee over at k&r auto. They always take care of me and do good work. I had them rebuild a motor in my mack dump truck, I also purchased a motor for my father's escort, and i also have had them pick up junk cars. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I've been seeing a lot of negative comments about buying a transmission or engine. When installing it yourself it's hard for any salvage yard to know if you properly installed it correctly that's why I recommend having them install it for you so their won't be any issues. I would ask them to take a video of them installing it or take pictures of the progress....yes it's a lot of money having it installed but at the end YOU know they installed it and THEY are reliable for that warranty. Buying a used transmission or engine from any salvage yard is like gambling. (It may or may not be defective). Don't forget parts on the used engine may go bad like head gaskets, seals or water pump. This isn't a rebuilt engine or transmission. (It's used) Just make shure you are topped off with fluids and checking everything before you leave their shop.I never came here before or bought anything from them but I just want people to understand how alot of salvage yards are.I don't work here or know the owner I'm just a guy thats looking at reviews from other salvage yards. One day I'll stop by here and give my honest review about them and give an update on my experience.

I wont recommend this business to my worst enemy, long story short story, this people do not stand behind the products they sell, and they will play any game to avoid warranty. Good luck if you have to deal with them...
