Their online coupons do not work. I had the proof of the subtotal being $12 and in store when I tried using these coupons they would not work. The original total without coupons was $29.60 and it would be $20 with the coupons. But online it said $12

I finally found the color curtains, toss blanket, pillows, and chair cushions that I have been looking for and at a much more reasonable price. Yeah took me 2 years to find exactly what I wanted. A must go to for most items. Can't wait to get back there saw more items I have to go back for.

Dollar General is a good destination for inexpensive items for the house. I needed some hooks for one wall and I was able to find 3M Command hooks for a fraction of what I would had paid at Home Depot or Target. Yes, maybe the selection of them are not as good, but I was able to be flexible and go either a size higher or lower based on my need. As a savvy shopper, remember to check the dollar stores for deals on items...don't overpay at the big warehouse retailer if you can avoid it.....

Was about to spend at least 200 here. But had to use the bathroom. I asked an employee, they said they didn't have a bathroom. Left my cart and went to dollar tree. This place is ghetto as hell. NEVER GOING BACK.

When this store first opened up I didn't think I would be going there as much and I did. I remember once going there for a purple bandana, and thinking that was the only time I would ever go there. Eventually I started buying my household essentials there like Tide laundry soap and various household cleaning products. Mostly because of the DG digital coupons in the app. I loved going there for cleaning stuff lol. As of recent I noticed the quality of the store was slipping. The shelves wouldn't be stocked well enough, and most of the things I would go for because of those coupons were not in stock like the laundry detergent. I've left empty handed. Store would be a cluttered mess in some aisles. It's a nice store for grabbing one or two things but don't expect to do your full on shopping here. The store can be a cluttered mess sometimes too. It's January of 2022 as I write this review. The store has been "temporarily closed" since early September of 2021. Due to a fire someone's stupid kids started in the store. The store itself is / was a great asset to the area because they offer better quality items than Dollar Tree. But even with the now hiring sign in the window of that gutted store. I can't see it opening anytime in the near future. Dollar General needs to appreciate their employees more and pay a higher wage, if they want people to actually work for them.

As far as discount stores go, this place is pretty good. It won't replace Benny's in this market, but they can try. When they first opened perhaps they had something to prove as the stores were just sleeping ghtly better stocked and staffed. Now shelves are often in disarray and good luck with the purple haired kid behind the counter having any actual helpful information.

At the time of writing this, the store is closed until further notice due to a recent fire inside the store. There are signs taped to the window explaining such. Good store for finding necessities. Not sure when it’s reopening though.
