Told me car didn’t have a coolant leak and wasn’t over heating. Filled coolant yesterday- empty today. Car is literally smoking when turned on but they told me the car was not overheating because the heat gauge says it’s fine. Took it to another mechanic that found and resolved issue faster and cheaper. Charged 800 for labor to not fix the issue. Definitely feel very taken advantage of and scammed.

Exceptional service and a great price. I spoke with the owner Brett on multiple occasions about the work I needed done and how he planned to do it. I decided to pull the trigger and couldn’t be happier. 10/10 would recommend

These guys are the absolute best. I have brought my car in a few times for normal service, and a couple tricky troubleshooting issues with my 2015 car. Joe has always taken the time to explain everything that they have done as part of the service, and makes a point to emphasize that if anything doesn't feel right after the service to give them a call. Their pricing is incredibly fair.
Today my car broke down in Jamestown - completely went kapput - so I called them for a tow. They were able to send someone right away. Russel, my tow driver, was SO friendly and efficient and made me feel at ease after such a stressful experience. Once we got back to the shop Brett and his dad talked me through the next steps and even offered to give me a ride home since I live not too far away.
Honestly, as someone who knows nothing about cars I am so grateful to have such a friendly and knowledgeable family business to turn to that I know will treat me fairly. I absolutely recommend them if you are looking for service or to have work done.

had Sampson's do a APR tune. The car had Miss fires. He would not remove tune. charged Me $400 for refusals too admit the tune was problem, liar try to said was dirty oil . he is a Joke! stay away!!

3 FLUID changes I brought my 95 Mustang project car in for 3 FLUIDS!!!” then they proceeded to do whatever they wanted to the vehicle then 5,000$ later told me that it was their project. After I explained it was a project for my wife and I it was not for him and his crew to leave us with a 5,000$ bill. They are crooks and apparently after screwing everyone out of repairing what they weren’t authorized to they came up with enough stolen money to buy a gas station next to The Court House Center For the arts. Stay away from this repair shop or it will cost you guaranteed!!

Biggest rip off. Charged me $70 to have my tire patched. Absolutely ridiculous. Never going back and would never recommend to anyone. Not transparent about cost at all. It said the repair itself cost about $10 and labor was $60. In what world is the labor for patching a tire $60.

Sampson’s automotive is the only shop I trust my vehicle with. I have seen them for inspection stickers in the past and now most recently after a minor collision. Joe and Brett are honest, trustworthy and communicative. It’s hard to find that these days. Even my husband who works on his own vehicles for years is impressed with the professionals at the shop.
