Called on a Sunday for an alignment and a tire they squeezed me in and the price was fair. Now I'm not afraid of my tire blowing up and losing another tire due to wearing too quickly.

DO NOT come here for tire repair. My wife visited this location to get a small tire leak fixed. While sitting in the waiting room for 30 mins, at least 5 people came in saying a recent plug had failed and were requesting a new one. Against her better judgement, she stayed and got the plug for her tire.
A few days later the tire was leaking air again, so she brought it back for a fix. They claimed the plug didn't fail, but that a different object had punctured the tire and they did a new plug.
Again, several days later the tire was leaking so we brought it to Town Fair Tire. Turns out this location lied about the second puncture, and they just butchered the plug to the extent that the tire had to be throw out. In total what should have been a $30 job has ended up costing our family about $750 (2 plugs, 2 new tires, and install).
As someone who has had several plugs done successfully, and ridden on them for years with no issue, I know this is not the norm. Avoid this location and save yourself some serious coin.

Great location, Fair Pricing and Friendly people working there! Looking for tires for my daughter’s car, came upon Melvin’s Tire on a Google Review of all things! They lived up to their previous reviews . Had a 900am Appointment, checked in at 830 car was taken in for service at 845am. So anyway, I checked the site for tires, I compared prices and they were less expensive than most sites. They give you complimentary tire rotation and flat repair! That hooked me! Finished the job in 1 hour as promised! She will even receive a $80.00 rebate to boot! I’m happy and so is she!

My husband and I sent out car in for new tires, the staff who greeted us were extremely polite, attentive, and helpful. Nick specifically was a staff member who helped us, he was very professional and respectful. They were quite busy but we felt our car was made a priority as they called us in a timely manner to get the car back. The tires are a great quality and we are very happy!

Exceptional Customer Service!
I recently had Bridgestone tires installed on my Honda Accord at Melvin’s Discount Tire, and I couldn’t be happier. The customer service was outstanding. As a long-time customer, I’ve always appreciated their commitment to going above and beyond. The knowledgeable service advisors and top-notch mechanics make all the difference. Highly recommended!

Nick is the BEST!! Everytime I need service on my car he always accommodates me as soon and as quick as possible. Always great work that I can trust. He explains everything to me throughly, as someone who knows nothing about cars. Have had nothing but a pleasant experience at Melvin's!

My service advisor Nick was awesome. He immediately empathized with my situation and took measures to quickly diagnose the issue and I was on the road within a few hours. My RV Guy will make Melvin's Tire and Auto our first choice in North Kingstown for all our service vehicles. An outstanding team! I wasn't able to help my customer today, but my vehicle is running better than ever, and I made it to St. Phillip Church for Mass on time. Thanks Nick! Let your technician know I'm very happy with his work.

Where does a Corvette owner who meticulously maintains the exterior and mechanical needs of his car go when tires need to be replaced? Simple. Melvin’s Tire Pro in North Kingstown.
When it comes to lifting Corvettes, special under carriage lift pads are required to avoid expensive body and frame damage. The wide tire rims alone are $800 each. Extreme care must be taken to avoid “scuffing” during the tire changing process.
Andrew, the service manager, eased my anxiety. He took me into the shop and showed me the various lifting pads used for all low profile make and model cars. He then described the equipment used to remove tires from wide rims. I was undoubtedly impressed, but at the same time felt foolish about the reassuring inquiries. This is what they do every day! Leave any doubt at the door. These guys are professionals.
Tire Pro did more than a fantastic job mounting the tires, high speed balancing, and four-wheel alignment. They beat the competition by over $200! The Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZP run flat tires look good on the car and the ride is noticeably more quiet and smoother than the OEM tires that came with it.
My sincere thanks to Nick, Stephanie, Andrew, and all in the shop who made my day. A job well done! Highly recommended.

First class customer service, I brought my brand new BMW x7 because I kept losing air. They swiftly took my car and had it fixed up and had me back on the road with in minutes. They guys that work at Melvin’s are so kind and professional 10/10. If you have any tire issues and you’re in the area I would not look further.
