Rooms: Our room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Every room has a view of the water.
Walkability: We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Celebrated my 60th Birthday with 8 of my BFF's and had such a great time. The room was spacious had great view and clean!! Allie and the staff were AMAZING! It is walking distance to everything. I would highly recommend the WELLINGTON!!!

The only complaint I have about the resort is the shower pressure in the bathroom. It’s horrible!! Otherwise, the resort is clean and close to downtown.

The location is very central and a lot of Newport is walkable from here. For that reason, I would recommend a stay here. The rooms are pretty standard for the premium price, but they have what you need. We arrived very late (around 11pm) for check-in, and there was no staff on site. We needed to be given our keys by a security guard who seemed frustrated that this was their task and uncertain on which building to direct us for our room. The 4/5 stars is because we never saw a staff member our whole 4 days there. The service could be more attentive.

Very nice large Suites and the maintenance staff took care of everything very quickly when we had a minor issue. I would definitely like to stay in Newport and stay here again, but maybe for a week.

Had a very nice stay at the Wellington while we were in Newport attending a wedding. The room was beautiful, the view was great, and the service at check in and check out was excellent. My only one negative about it was the bed - it was a bit stiffer and not as nice as I expected with how the rest of the place was, but other than that we enjoyed being there. Would definitely stay again and recommend to other Newport visitors!

Love, love, love! Already booked next year!
Rooms: So nice! Spacious and clean, great Floorplan and every amenity I could ask for.
Noteworthy details: Service was exceptional. Everyone was so pleasant.

My family and i stay here ever year and we absolutely love it. The view is amazing, there is a playground next door, the rooms are huge and there is plenty of space for everyone, the separate apt w own bathroom is unique and perfect for us, a kitchen is always a bonus, the pools are perfect providing good fun, the staff is always so kind and helpful and location is walking distance to everywhere; it is perfect. (If i had to pick one negative i would say style is 80’s in all the units but i do not mind what so ever the place is perfect in my opinion)
Rooms: Huge. Not like a hotel room with 230sq ft. These are huge with kitchen living room dining room balconies bedrooms bathrooms a sep apt like w own locking hotel room if you will.. you walk in your main door and to the side is basically a hotel room w its own beds and bathroom then other side w its own door is the large condo w another bedroom and bathroom.
Nearby activities: Playground, park, ball fields, restaurants, warf, my kids fish off the wall at the park, swimming, shopping, convenience store, ice cream, downtown has everything
Safety: I walk my kids everywhere while we are here we do not drive and i have never felt unsafe at any point
Walkability: 15 mins to downtown or really anywhere you want to go. Sardella’s one of my favorites and i walk there with kids from here
Food and drinks: Walking distance and many choices. OBrians is very close, the Thai place on Thames is good but every restaurant is walking distance
Noteworthy details: We stay here every year and love it. I love not having to drive anywhere. The one time i do get in the car is to drive down to the beach.

There were 13 of us on a girls trip. We stayed 3 nights. When we arrived, they were efficient and check in was smooth. Our rooms weren’t quite ready but they held onto our luggage and called when they were. We even got into our rooms a bit early. They seemed to anticipate everything we might need. The rooms were clean and even better than we expected. All three rooms had a beautiful view The location couldn’t have been better. A coffee shop and convenience store right across the road. We walked everywhere. They do not service the rooms unless you ask but you can get whatever you need by going to the club house during open hours so just check every day in the morning to determine what you need. I honestly can’t think of a single negative. Would definitely stay again if I go back to Newport.

The location is exactly what we wanted as we were traveling without a car. It is close to all the restaurants, stores, and water! Our room looked a little older, but it was comfortable, clean, and had a nice view of the water. Having both indoor and outdoor pools was awesome. Being able to do laundry in our room was a nice bonus! Would definitely stay there again if we make it back to Rhode Island!
