This was the first time my wife and I tried glass blowing. Our instructor was amazing and put us at ease. We did more of the process than I was expecting and there was no rush. We had the items we made shipped to us and they arrived securely packaged. I would definitely recommend if you are innthe area!

Made a last minute reservation to make pumpkins. Got right in and had a fantastic time! Our coach was Ethan and he was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and made us feel like we were great at what we were doing (even if we weren't lol). So much fun and they even ship your finished piece to you since you have to wait a few days for it to cool fully. Highly recommend the class and the shopping!

Such a cute little shop! John was so patient, kind, and clear with his explanation on how to make our ornaments! I felt safe and educated during our class.

We visited this shop to make ornaments with our kids, ages 6 & 9. I was nervous going in from a safety perspective, but was put at ease almost immediately. This operation is super solid, and the artists were patient and helpful with us. We learned so much during this very hands-on experience. This was a unique opportunity we all enjoyed, and the showroom also had some beautiful pieces to purchase in addition to our creations. Try it if you’re in Newport—you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic fun for the whole family! Would highly recommend. The guys could not have been nicer. Super helpful. Our guy would handle any part of the process I was nervous with. They made my kids feel comfortable and safe. Never felt rushed. It was fantastic memory. Thank you!!

We had an incredible experience at Thames Glass. Our lesson instructor Ethan was incredibly kind, informative, and detailed. We learned so much about the glassblowing process throughout our lesson. I highly recommend and look forward to returning for another lesson in the future!

My daughter and I had the best experience here. I cannot express how wonderful all the gentlemen running this business made our first time blowing glass. The professionalism and patience were top shelf and I highly recommend all ages give them a call. I plan on bringing all my grandchildren here to make more family memories!

Just went back for my third glass blowing class. This time I made a pumpkin but I’ve made ornaments in the past. I believe our instructors name was Matt, he was really personable and knowledgeable. The class was really fun and I love that you can customize your art. I wanted a “Halloween pumpkin” so I made one that was dark purple with a green stem. It turned out so awesome. I highly recommend and will be back on my next trip to the island!
