Perfect location and wonderful stay! Some B&Bs can be old, dark and dingy but not the Serenity Inn. It was light and nicely renovated while still retaining its charm. We stayed in room 2 on the ground floor, which was surprisingly quiet. We enjoyed having the fireplace. Bathroom was beautiful. Many shops and restaurants are a close walk away. Lisa was very helpful too. Definitely recommend. Reasonably priced too.

Welcomed by Ashley to this beautiful inn! We have been there before but each trip reminds us why we only want to stay there! Super clean , perfectly located and includes a gourmet breakfast. There is nothin to improve upon as it’s perfection! Ashley and her staff were amazing!
Walkability: Several block walk to downtown Newport!
Food and drinks: Delish food for breakfast perfectly prepared!

We booked Room 8 specifically to avoid noise overhead. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and were given instructions to move into Room 9. No one answered our calls. That night was horrible. The people above stomped around like elephants starting at midnight, until 2:30 a.m.
Promises were made for a partial refund, but nothing was done.
Isn't getting a good night's sleep the MOST important thing you expect from a night's lodging?
BUYER BEWARE!!

What a vibe. This quaint, small bed and breakfast was the perfect spot for my husband and I to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. When we arrived Lisa was so friendly and sat down with us to go over a map of local attractions and restaurant recommendations in Newport which we appreciated since it was our first time. We rented room 10 which had the private balcony with gorgeous views of the harbor, 10/10 would recommend this room. We danced, drank wine, played chess and enjoyed breakfast one morning on the deck. The breakfast!!! Omg I absolutely loved the homemade breakfast every morning. Perfect/ generous amount of food to start your day! Also the location can’t be beat it’s the perfect distance from the hopping downtown area with endless things to do. Also while in town, highly recommend the cliff walk - pick it up at 40 steps and go south to pass by all the mansions. Anyways we loved Newport and loved serenity inn - looking forward to a future stay.

Good location. Not in the hub of town but close within walking distance. Would highly recommend!

The Serenity Inn was my first b&b experience and I will definitely be looking at more for future vacations. Communication was clear, check-in was smooth, staff was attentive (Lisa was fantastic), and breakfast was absolutely delicious every day. Our room & private bath were spacious, clean, and decorated nicely. The Inn is also conveniently located a few blocks from all of Newport’s downtown attractions and has parking on site! Would absolutely stay here again – it was a wonderful experience!

We loved our stay at Serenity Inn! Such an ideal location. We were able to walk to dinner both nights and also had the free trolley stop a couple blocks away to go to the mansions. We had breakfast both mornings and it surpassed our expectations! Our room was quiet, spacious and clean! We would highly recommend staying at the Serenity Inn!
Safety: Overall Newport felt very safe
Walkability: Amazing location for walking to popular restaurants, the harbor and stores

Short walk from downtown, very clean rooms and a lovely 150 year old building. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downsides I can think of is WiFi got a little slow at times and the parking situation is not ideal, but it’s an old neighborhood so there is not much that can be done about that.

This was the perfect place for our 2-night stay in Newport. Beautiful building, lovely and very clean rooms, and easy walking distance to just about any part of downtown Newport. The staff were very helpful. The breakfasts were delicious.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing. Great outdoor sitting space. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Perfect location. Walking distance to everything. I will definitely recommend Serenity Inn to friends and family.

We LOVED our stay at Serenity Inn. My fiancé and I have been to Newport plenty of times, but had never heard of this place until now. It is in a perfect location that is walking distance to Thames, provides a delicious complimentary breakfast in the morning, and is very modern and clean. I typically prefer a hotel over a B&B but this one is the perfect combination of upscale, yet homey and quintessential. I also really appreciate that the pricing is more reasonable. Lately, Newport hotel pricing is absolutely outrageous for the level of value you're getting. We have a wedding coming up in Newport in a couple weeks and decided to stay here instead of our previous arrangements. Can't wait to come back :)

This place is goregous. The location could not be better, just a short five minute walk into town and a 15 minute walk to Newport Shipyard and the Newport Yacht Club. Alot of the places I was looking to stay looked tired and musty, but this place was lovely and the room was bright and airy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and the breakfasts were superb in the morning. Would recommend to anyone staying in Newport. I stayed for three nights.

Very nice bed and breakfast, rooms are very clean and the breakfast was great, waffles, eggs, banana .muffin juices.
Rooms: Our room was very nice, clean, and recently updated
Staff is welcoming, but not the owners. Still recommend
Nearby activities: Mansions, wharf, ocean and Thames street. Trolly in waking distance as well as the tennis hall of fame.
