Recently visited for the first time, the buffet, the play and the cabaret were outstanding. Great staff, great venue at a very reasonable price. Will definitely return.

Awesome time. They serve a lunch or dinner as well. The plays are well performed. The staff are very nice too and even sometimes part of play or cabaret.

I have to start out by saying the play was fabulous we laughed our asses off! However our dinner reservation was lost we were seated one place asked to move sat alone after being embarrassed and humiliated and sitting on our own obviously even though there were three seats left at the table that she moved us from . We spelled our last name at least seven times and she sat us at a name that was not ours and on the 8th or 10th time she finally found our name . we arrived close to 1st but ate last apparently it was according to a rifle which was clearly not true. If you are not with a bus tour you are treated very differently than the rest. I highly recommend the show I do not recommend wasting your time or money on the lunch if you are not on a bus trip.

What a great place to spend my Sunday afternoon, our show today was Run For Your Wife, the cast did a fabulous job, it was very funny and so entertaining. Our party of eight had a wonderful meal , the play and then dessert, followed by a Cabaret prefomance. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone, it was great to see a local place with live entertainment. Let's keep supporting these local places, it was well worth trip.

Just saw “Run For Your Wife” at the Newport Playhouse and really enjoyed this show. The main character John Smith, played by Michael Cox was hilarious, as was the rest of the players . This small theatre group is so entertaining.
Their Brunch was good and a number of food choices were available.
After the play and dessert, the Cabaret players performed, with some good humorous moments.
Have been to the Playhouse many times over the years and always enjoy it. It’s comfortable and the staff are great.?
Look forward to future visits.

Looking for a night of laughter & entertainment? Visit Newport Playhouse. We enjoyed a delicious buffet. We laughed out loud at a production of “Run for Your Wife”. The energy and commitment of the cast was contagious. We were impressed by the talented cast performing at the Cabaret following the play, while we ate our dessert. It was a fun-filled night! It is evident that the owners and the staff take great pride in providing local talent.

Great Show and Cabaret was very good, but not not as great as in the past. Food was good and a nice variety, however was only Luke warm which was a disappointment.

Great show, great service and delicious food. Just wish the tables were bigger and that the dishes were cleared away quicker.

Attended the show, luncheon and cabaret today. A wonderful lobster lunch buffet (they offered other protein alternatives for those who don’t eat lobster) . Then an extremely well done presentation of “Nunsense”. After that, we were treated to strawberry shortcake for dessert, followed by a cabaret show with songs, and comedy acts. The entire event is run like a well oiled machine. No huge lines at the Buffet as they called a couple of tables at a time. They also offer a full bar. There was plenty of time allotted for the meal before the main show. I would highly highly recommend attending one of their programs.
