It's a Minimart/ Gas Station in Newport Naval Station. The store is very inviting and is always fully stocked. Aside from Automotive needs , tobaccos/ smokes , they also have a huge selection of beverages ( from sodas /pops , energy drinks, coffee, water and a few selection of alcohol which they keep cold) . They have a good selection of snacks , sandwiches, chips, protein bars and frozen food for people on the go. Very convenient for people with a small window for lunch breaks. They have HbC section which is great for people who's staying in the area ( Navy lodge or barracks). The people are very accommodating and friendly. Although the minimart closes at 5 pm everyday and is closed on the weekends, the Gas pumps is open for service 24/7.

A tad cheaper then in Newport. Both of my cars experienced post fill burp and spewed gas on the cars. Could just be my cars though.

The NEX nor the Commissar sell car products or oil only the gas station, the gas station hours are from Mon-Fri which doesn't help anyone when they come to use the self use hobby shop. Better bring your oil and what ever else you need.Good gas station but the staffing and hours aren't set to help service members who are trying to save money due to the expensive cost outside the base for vehicle maintenance.

5 stars for this location.they have great prices on snacks, gas, and tobacco products. They also have a large variety of tobacco products. I was able to get nearly everything I needed for my crew with this single stop.

Clean easy to grab and go. They changed their hours and close at 5PM.Longer hours would be more convenient for Navy Lodge occupants, residents of the base, especially on a Monday when the commissary is closed.
