I came in and bought a sweatshirt and sun glasses on 4th of July. I have to say the customer service was extraordinary. It was around 9pm, just before the fireworks, the young lady was so knowledgeable of the products, and she helped me with a smile on her face - answering any questions I had. I will be definitely stop at this store again to make purchases for friends and family.

We previously bought a baseball hat there about a month ago while waiting for a boat ride. The lady who is selling the hats was not encountering us neither was offering help, but we didn’t really need help. The ‘newport’ hat costed $28. Today we went there looking for a straw hat.As we were looking at the hats, the lady who sales them came to us, as she was taking on a phone, grabbed it off our hands and yelled ‘don’t take pictures of the hats’. Mind you we weren’t, but even if we were, that should be fine if we buy it for someone and want to ask if they would like it or not. Instead of asking if we would want help or looking for something specific she decided to attack us. The prices for hats were $50 and up. After that we decided not to buy there anything anymore. We walked down the pier and found hats for $25 at The Flop-Up Shop that we bought, because it was the same kind of hats and quality. Terrible experience at Malee’s.

The first time I went to the Taunton store- the cashier wanted to process my card verbally on the phone... No way. I'm here right now at 10:43anmxythe Saturday after Black Friday and it's not open! I called the Newport location and the number is not answering- sounds very very fishy

Needed a nice sun hat for the boat show in Newport and was so thankful to stumble upon Malee's. Beautiful quality and helpful sales staff. I was worried about getting the hat home in good shape in my checked luggage since the hat was a different style and shape than I have had before. The saleslady took her time explaining just how to pack it. Great experience!!
