I was overcharged for the purchase of a Yeti tumbler but didn't notice until I was back home in CT. I sent a picture of the label with the price and asked for the difference to be refunded to my credit card with no response.

I purchased a hat at this store which was ticketed at $35. Rhode Island does not have sales tax. When I noticed I was charged $39.50 I requested a refund of the $4.50 to be put towards a purchase Of another item. The sweet employee called her manager Gregory Hall who told her they "do not do that" and they would not give me back my money. I believe the item was mismarked and it rang up in the register as $39.50. However, it was tagged at $35. This is Not about the $4.50. It is the principal of the matter. Do the right thing. They would have actually made More Money from me if they just admitted their mistake. I was born and raised in Newport and I was home visiting family. Needless to say none of my Local family will be shopping there. Mistake

Best store in Newport!!!!! They have the best selection of On Cloud sneakers and Vuori. They also carry marine layer, holebrook, helly Hansen, olukai, and Smith. They do not mark up their prices at all!!!!! Customer service is wonderful. I love their store in Wakefield as well.

I was visiting Newport for the weekend with my family. On Sunday, Sept 27, around one o'clock while walking and shopping on Thames Street, we went into Island Outfitters to shop for clothes for my wife and daughter.The store was almost empty. There were two young girl sitting behind the counter and both were engrossed with their cellphones.They didn't bother to greet us or offer any customer assistance whatsoever. They didn't even say anything as we walked out of the store.They were so engrossed in whatever they were doing on their phones, it was like their personal business was much more important than working. We left without buying a thing. I couldn't in good conscious give money to a business that treats their customers with such disdain. I hope the owner of this store realizes hiring vapid self-absorbed young girls, who are more concerned with their social media than they are with doing their job, is a terrible business decision.

A large selection of men's and women's clothing, including polos, shorts, swim trunks, etc., predominantly from the brand Southern Tide, which is well made and stylish. My only preference would be to see some additional variety for 1-2 other comparable brands.

No customer service whatsoever. No hello when I walked in, I tried stuff on, they only told us our total. The two ladies working were just talking very lpudly to each other and it seemed that they just did not care. Very impersonal shopping experience and I would not have purchased my items just in spite.
