This is a great convenience store. Service is always polite and efficient. They never fail to have something interesting in their isles, and I love the range of Latin american products. Their sandwiches are great value and freshly made. You can pretty much pick up anything you might need at this store. Groceries, ice cream, pre-made food, cigarettes, and scratch tickets. They do it all and are a service to their community.

I love Charlie's Five and Dime, as my dad did 40 years ago. I stop in almost every day on my way to work. My only gripe, and the whole reason I wanted to post a review, is this: please, show Charlie's love and help keep them open another 40 years, but don't buy cigars there! The cigars are right next to the stove, and so everything is covered with a thick layer of grease. They are the only place in town I can find my favorite Swisher Black Wine cigars, but every day I buy one I get grease all over my hands, clothes, pockets, and phone, and when I open the package I then touch the cigar and put it in my mouth with old grease which has collected dirt and hair on my fingers.

I think the ATM here sells your debit card info. I got a new card after my last one was compromised less than a year ago, (probably also due to using it here), and I put it in a desk drawer and only used it to occasionally get cash here. Nowhere else has this credit card number yet I just got another fraud alert. The actual store is great and no complaints but beware of the ATM.

They take foodstamps and have house hold items. I miss this store. Both of the men are super nice!

Awesome store since I started coming in on my way to Thompson in the 1980s. I remember buying candy and plastic 80s bangles, bracelets and earings back in the day. I also remember one day in '85 the Prince song Rasberry Beret playing in the store, and the lyrics mention working at a 5 and dime. I was expecting at any moment someone would walk in wearing a raspberry beret. For over 30 years I always think of Charlie's five and ten whenever I hear thatsong.

Decent ingredients but jeez only one slice of turkey for a large sandwich and 60% is lettuce. This place is def not deserving of 5 stars

Their subs and wraps are worth coming in for alone! Everything is cooked fresh to order and is very tasty. The shop also offers anything you’d really need, from all sorts of snacks to household items. Highly recommend supporting this local business.

More than just a convenient store. Fresh fruit and vegetables. They cook fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have almost everything. Very friendly service. The $1.00 coffee brought me in, but then it became my go to spot for almost everything.

I have been coming to C.H Charles 5&10 since I was a kid. The original owners were lovely people. Today Charlies as we always called it is thriving and a great addition to the community. Its new owners are great people. Their kids also work there. They have almost anything you can think of and if the don't have it sometimes they'll say they'll get it for you. The deli is the most popular Breakfast lunch or dinner and they stay open late. Hot food, hot coffee hotcross buns whatever you like?. Everything from lottery to building popsicle sticks. Come on in and support our international communities.
