The customer service at Ben's is top-notch. And the decor is fantastic for beach-themed properties. I couldn't be happier with both the pieces purchased and the staff. Dave and Hope were great.

Now I know why this furniture store has been in business for so long. We recently had an issue with a chair we purchased last May, I stopped by the store and they sent out someone to take care of it within two days. The owner and staff know how to treat customers and have the best customer service on this island. It is a pleasure to support local businesses. Thank you.

I'm from Newport, RI. Back in the 1960s, my mom always bought from Ben's furniture. Now I do the same. We bought a whole leather set: coach/ recliners 7 years ago + the furniture still looks new. The home accessories are great: bought lamps + pillows for the living room...I highly recommend Ben's Furniture!

Was ready to spend some money on vacation although most of the stuff I could make myself but didn’t get 10 feet into the store and some pretentious old hag yelled at my son for touching a wooden chess piece (WOODEN!)and told him he could break it. There was not one sign saying do not touch (I looked). So out we went. You don’t talk to my son who’s 9 btw and very well behaved like that. Will never go back. Thanks for listening.

Spent hours in the big chain stores and couldn't find anything we liked. Then Ben's came up on a search. Really? A furniture store on Thames Street in Newport? Yup, and it's great! Fell in love with everything! Our challenge went from trying to find something we liked to having to choose among the many things we liked. Bought the family room furniture yesterday. Thank you, Ben's!
