Absolutely fantastic experience with this shop that is truly in a league of its own. A world class selection of some of the most amazing prints and antique collectibles you will ever encounter. Personally this was a must see for me and I believe anyone in Newport. With the museum quality pieces there is no reason not to stop in. The lovely owners were helpful and informative and truly know their works. This shop was a highlight of my visit and something I can’t wait to come back and visit!

Amazing shop with a knowledgeable and friendly owner! Took the time to teach me about different map making history and significant aspects of each map. He is obviously very proud of his work and him and his wife have a great deal of knowledge that is passed down through their family. I would highly recommend! Can’t wait to display my new piece.

The shop keepers are not friendly- sad because the selection is quite nice & organized. We’ve visited this shop several times over the years. I attempted small talk with the older gentleman as I shared my interest in flower prints- similar to ones I purchased in Germany years ago. My husband was interested in maps of Warwick and Newport and spent nearly 10 min thumbing through prints in vinyl coverings… when I noticed multiple prints were behind one of the maps- I pulled it out to get a better look- it too was in vinyl… as I attempted to put it back, the female shop keeper came rushing over…” saying oh oh oh” as if I was mishandling them and took it from my hands to put it it’s place. I was not shoving it into place, I was being cautious - regardless - between the prints my husband wanted and the flower prints I found- the shop easily lost a $1,000 sale. We left silently. They’d be better putting everything under plate glass if they don’t want people to look at the collection.

Anne is so lovely, my husband and I visited her wonderful store while traveling there from Canada. We had seen a stunning Lithograph that stupidly we didn't purchase at the time. However for the next few days and even on the plane ride home we kept chatting about it. When I got home I was able to find and get ahold of Anne, she arranged to have it shipped , she packaged it so well so it wouldn't get damaged. From start to finish I had it within a week... Anne thank you so much, she is so lovely to deal with I would highly recommend her.

THE MAN of Anne Hall Prints, Bowen Wharf, Is Mark. He is THE MAN, incredibly sweet, honest, calm, incredibly knowledgeable of rare prints. Obviously if he said anything to you, rudely, you ignored his first 12 warnings of the fragility of antique prints. Any one with common sense knows that oil on hands, normal bacteria, rough handling can diminish value of old rare 100 year old prints, art work of any kind. Stick to the dollar store for your art prints. Ciuccio

A wonderful display of botanicals and rare centuries-old prints you will not see anywhere else. It's on Bowen's wharf in a 1700's building in the middle of old Newport RI.

Anne was just such a relief. Hugely knowledgable and incredibly helpful and patient. The quality of everything in the gallery was so impressive and so diverse it was just a really memorable experience speaking with her and leaving with something that I truly actually will just, benefit from really. Do NOT miss it if you have the opportunity to visit. Absolutely impressed, and very very pleased ??

Just incredible! I have never seen a shop like this in my life. The maps were beautiful. They had a fantastic inaccurate 16th century map of India, for example. Would make such special and unique gifts. Cannot wait to come back to this shop in the future. The owners were passionate, friendly, and knowledgeable.

This is such a rare treasure of a collection. Anne is a second generation print collector and so knowledgeable. We saw so many special illustrations and held centuries old artworks. Newport is wonderful and we had such a lovely weekend but this is the absolute highlight. Love, will return and could have spent the whole day here

My experience here was incredibly awkward. My husband and I collect maps of our home state, so I was initially excited to see this store and loved their organized arrangement. I found a map that I thought was older than our others and texted my husband to check the dates. While waiting, I took a picture and started to ask the shopkeeper a question about the piece. She got very upset with me as photos weren't allowed; I immediately apologized as I hadn't realized this and showed her my phone so she could see me delete the photo. She walked away from me mumbling about how there were signs everywhere before I had a chance to ask her anything.I tried to make small talk with the other shopkeeper while I waited for my husband to respond, but it was very uncomfortable so I just left. By the time my husband replied to tell me to buy it, I was already out of the store and not interested in going back. Obviously it was my error to miss their restriction on photos, but their response to my mistake lost them what could have been a quick sale.

Walked in to browse and ended up purchasing 3 prints of 1890s Wyoming and the Middle East. Had a very nice conversation with the shop owners who were incredibly nice and helped me find exactly what I wanted. Would 100% recommend.
