Shame on the owners of this popular local spot.
There was an elderly woman last summer that fell off the unmarked ramp that was in the back. Her husband was in line. She stepped off the side of the ramp, not knowing it was a ramp because it was unmarked. She was hurt bad she went to her doctor Who sent her to the hospital. She contacted Monahans. They told her it was her fault that she fell because of her dress they refused to pay her medical bills and she still fighting to get her medical bills paid today sad that they are fighting an elderly woman when it was clearly their fault for leaving a ramp unmarked are unsafe for people to walk on. I will never eat at Monahans’s again because of this situation. The people that run it only care about money they do not care about the people. They are serving in the people in the neighborhood. If their grandmother would have treated her with disrespect, they are now. Shame for doing this to an elderly woman. Karma is real
Wheelchair accessibility: They are fighting an old woman for falling off a ramp in the seating area out back. She fell in front of me and another man and the staff treated her like nothing when it happened. Shame on the owners! Shame!

A must visit when in Narragansett for sure. All the food is amazing I’ve been here so many times. This last visit the ahi tuna nachos were spectacular and swordfish tacos are always excellent.

Monahan's was recommended by a local and was a great choice. The line was long but took as long as if we dined in which isn't an option you order at the window and eat at picnic tables and there was plenty of seating. I recommend grabbing a local beer at the outdoor bar while You're waiting. The location was great and had a beautiful view.

Fish sandwich was okay, the flounder fillet was very thin. The lobster in the lobster roll was not fresh and a bit chalky. At least over a half hour wait on line to place the orders. But the view was nice from the patio seating area.

Go here if you want a delicious lobster roll with a view of the ocean. Couldn’t get better than here. Clam cakes were great too

Monaghan's was a lovely way to celebrate a beautiful end of summer day. They caution that parking could be difficult but we easily found a space when someone left. Staff was friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and excellent. I had fried scallops and my friend ordered the whole clams and clam cakes. Everything was great served in a pavilion with a perfect view of the ocean. Hoping to go back again!
