“The food was easily a 5. I had the pan seared scallops and my mom choose the fried. They were able to substitute the side dishes so that each of us could create a delicious meal and that accommodated my food allergies. I was sad not to be able to have the couscous with my scallops and think they could have been better plated but they were perfectly seared. Our server was very friendly and answered the questions we had about the menu. The food is on the pricier side and so I expected a fancier restaurant. This is a casual and very large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The 3 issues we had were:1) it was chaos trying to give your name for a table or to check in for a reservation with a staff member. There was a line but then someone else started randomly checking people in so there was a lot of pushing and confusion in a tight entry area. 2) The length of time to get our desserts. We waited about 40 minutes. Our server told us someone else had "taken" my mom's strawberry shortcake so we had to wait for another to be made. Regardless, this still was way too long to be waiting for dessert. 3)The other issue was my brownie was supposed to have vanilla ice cream and had chocolate instead. It was already such a rich dessert, this made it too sweet/heavy. It was still excellent and we didn't want to wait any longer so we didn't say anything at the restaurant. That said, the view was beautiful and the actual food was delicious. This isn't the place to go if you're in a hurry. If you don't mind spending a bit more time and money, I'd recommend this restaurant. The pan seared scallops are crave-worthy and just look at the desserts!”
