I went there last week, two days ago as well as yesterday.The first day was a fact finding trip- my phone broke through the protection cover- have insurance so I’ll need to file a claim- the guys were nice enough- it was lunchtime and there were no other customers.Day two I came in and got the claim filed- Mike is who took care of me and explained at great lengths that he is paid 100% commission.So yesterday I get my phone from UPS overnight- take it to Verizon to have Mike help me get it all transferred- clearly the 45.00 charge to help me was not enough for him- he took another guy and his business phone issues and proceeded to attempt to multi-taskHe was terrible at this-Two hours later I took my phone and went home and within 25 minutes I had it done myself for NO Charge!They are only awesome if you spend more moneyWhat a shame.

Spencer is the man! Knowledgeable, professional and gave outstanding customer service. We all know Verizon can be tough to deal with…not if you visit the Middletown location. They will not disappoint.

Worst experience I ever had purchasing a phone. Pre ordered the Fold 5... went to pick it up, brought my own case and screen protector. They botched it. When transferring everything from my old phone to the new one, the transfer was cancelled (not knowing I would lose everything) and now... after that travesty (losing all my previous texts and contacts) they said "oh sorry our system is down" as the transfer was happening AFTER they deactivated and wiped my old phone. They gave me the option to "wait several hours" for THEIR system come up or leave with NO working phone as they could not activate the Fold 5. To be clear they deactivated my old one, then gave me a DEAD Fold 5 with none of my information, contacts or texts and 0 cellular service and said oh well, wait here all day with no phone or go to another store. Not only that, I spoke with an Tier 2 support manager at Verizon directly, they never entered my trade in to the Verizon system and gave me a dead $2000 phone. I then took my "new phone that doesn't work" to a store in Fall River, MA where they were able to fix all the mistakes the Middletown store made almost instantly and apologized on their behalf. When I called later that evening to speak with a manager about my experience there, I was told "there is no manager". This place reeks of used car salesman energy and you should avoid it at all costs. Incompetent as they come. Go to Fall River.

Just got verbally berated while trying to get a new phone and was made to feel extremely uncomfortable. Had issues from the beginning. Got offered a deal that I actually didn’t have. I was given multiple different prices for adding a line to my phone. They kept confusing me with offers. They said my phone would be in on Monday it wasn’t in until Wednesday. All these things I was willing to overlook. But when I was getting my new phone the person helping me became angry on the phone with a Verizon help line and then said to me “why are you ignoring me”. After he stated “sorry this is just making me so upset.” To me, In which I didn’t know how to respond because I felt uncomfortable. After that I told him to cancel the order due to me feeling extremely uncomfortable, In which he became irate getting upset and left me at the desk. I had to go over to the other employee for help. Overall I have never been made to feel more uncomfortable then I did at this store. I will be upgrading my phone somewhere else.

I am John, and Linda, and I recently converted our phones from T-Mobile to Verizon. it involved two new iPhones, one new Apple Watch, a military discount, and several other complicating factors. Jordan guided me through the process and displayed both superior technical skills and masterful human relations talent. I spent a career as an IBM executive and rarely did I come across a young man with such potential.

Charged me $45 to 'setup phone' which is a 2 second ordeal and never bothered to say there was a charge for that or even hint at it. Disgusting.
